Yeah it's all the same clickbait article with no actual references as to where they got the June 14th date. Hate that crap.

If you haven't watched it by now, you probably don't care, but The Americans is leaving Prime video at the end of the month. It looks like it's moving to Hulu.
Also, if you don't have Peacock, you can now watch The 355 and Marry Me on Prime video. They have now moved over here for the time being.

There are a bunch of 99 cents per month for 2 months subscriptions if you're interested in a short term premium channel subscription. This is for Prime Day.
Paramount +
Starz
Discovery +
Showtime
AMC+
EPIX
are the most notable among premium content. There are others.

Sing 2 is on Netflix, but it's really good and has some great songs. It's worth it for that price.

Thanks, I went ahead and got it. Didn’t care for the first and I’ll skip this one, but the kids have asked about this before. Price is good enough now.

If I were you, I would pass on Starz and get something like Paramount + unless you already have it. They have some really good originals like 1883, Mayor of Kingstown and of course the Star Trek shows. Most you can probably binge in 2 months. Starz is decent for movies, but they don't really have any noteworthy original shows right now.

One bad thing about Paramount + with Amazon is they bunch all of their movies together and no such thing as per genre.
Not sure if the Paramount + app is the same as far as not listing movies per genre.

Re: The Amazon Prime Streaming Thread
I ended up passing on Starz and AMC+. I doubt I'll have time to watch everything on Acorn that I want to watch in the next two months.

I was considering getting BET+ so I could watch the Martin reunion special. But I looked at their catalog and there is really nothing else that I would even remotely be interested in watching. So I'm to pass even at 99 cents.

Yes, I haven't found a categories area. But I'll look at the section below what I watched "Customers Also Watched" or else I'll search for a specific movie. For .99 I won't be too picky as long as I can find what I wanted to watch.

I guess I'm spoiled by Netflix's Categories tab. or HBO Max's genres tabs under each main selection like Movie or Series

We're all spoiled by every other service having better UI layouts. For the life of me I have no idea why Amazon has stuck to the crap one they've had for years.

Re: The Amazon Prime Streaming Thread
I see a few categories on the Paramount+ channel page on Prime:
Granted "Comedy" is a mix of both shows and movies, and there's no horror category.
Another option is to use another service to discover the content. Justwatch lists shows/movies in categories, based on the video services you select it to recommend from:
https://www.justwatch.com/
You could select, say, only Paramount+ for it to build recommendation lists based on just that one service.

Like I mentioned they list a few categories.
As E Unit has said, it's just a crappy UI. I'll just put up with it for the two months I got it for Prime Days.

Much like the Fandango-Vudu interface which also sucks. I'll jump back in it again to see how it runs, but zero hope it'll result in a better experience.
