For the Satoshi Kon fans out there, it looks like Paprika is getting the UHD (and steelbook) treatment on February 20th: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/dvd...=0043396634749

Se7en is being released in the UK on UHD next year.
I ordered the box edition. I couldn’t help myself.

If you're interested in an Ultra HD release of Macross II: Lovers Again, let AnimEigo know. It sounds like it'd only be available to backers of their current Blu-ray campaign, so keep that in mind!

A Kino Lorber rep said they’re planning on bringing Tarkovsky’s Nostalghia to Ultra HD Blu-ray.

UPDATE #8
Our New Year's Resolution is 4K!
Dear Backers,
The new year is a time for reviewing past decisions and resolving to do better. And based on your input and generous support of the project, we now have the resources to attempt something we've wanted to do for a long time.
We want Macross II to be our first release in UHD 4K!
To support this, we have added two stretch goals to the project:
First, at $250K, we are committing to authoring Macross II in 4K.
Backers who want to receive a Blu-ray / UHD combo (2 discs instead of 1) will be able to add-on UHD for $10 post-campaign. In addition, the 4K materials will also be used to author the Blu-ray release.
Second, at $351K, we will celebrate Macross II being our biggest Kickstarter ever by upgrading all backers to a Blu-ray / UHD combo release at no additional cost!
Wait... what's that, you say? We've already passed $250K?
Well, that first stretch goal wasn't much of a stretch after all. D'Oh!
Finally, in addition to all of this, we are still actively looking at ways to add some extra goodies to the physical package - goodies that every backer will get. Your suggestions in the previous update thread have been very helpful, so keep them coming!
Many thanks to everyone at BIG WEST and Creative Sphere, without whose hard work this wouldn't be possible.
Happy New Year from Robert and Natsumi!
PS: The reason the UHD add-on has to be post-campaign is that once we create an add-on, we can't remove it, and if we hit the second stretch goal, it becomes redundant.

This is going to be a proper 4K release, not an upscale. We will be doing a HDR color grade, but the exact details on that and other steps in the chain are contingent on what we uncover along the way. Same goes for audio; right now all we know for sure is that we have the final 2.0 mixed tracks, but the Combat Archaeology Team is still hopeful they can uncover the original separated tracks.

Walmart is getting an exclusive steel book for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom also. Must be the new place now that Target and Best Buy gave up on physical media.

I enjoy Major League, but not sure I'm gonna spend a lot of cash on that.
I never watch any actual sports, but stuff like Major League is always watchable.

Major League is pretty much my favorite sports movie ever made next to Hoosiers. It would be great if some new extras were made but I doubt it will happen.

It's so rewatchable. Great casting, even the smaller roles like the dinner party that Jake accidentally crashes.
