Re: UHD release announcements

Yeah, I was wondering if they were going to fix all the issues with that last set. Will definitely wait on the reviews for that one - although I do already own Creed I and II, so I'll have to see what the price point is as well.

Re: UHD release announcements

But that will not be the complete set for long once Creed IV comes out

Re: UHD release announcements

Depending on how the reviews are for Night of the Comet (1984) & My Bloody Valentine (1981) are, I might have to upgrade.

I can't imagine it'll be anything other than a repackage.

Re: UHD release announcements

I got pretty excited about the My Bloody Valentine UHD until I remembered this is Shout and it’ll probably only be the theatrical cut.

I completely forgot about how they treated their 4K UHD release of Lifeforce (1985)

Definitely waiting for reviews.

It looks like it is in fact the unrated cut so I’ll be picking this up for sure.

Re: UHD release announcements

I have been on a buying spree of all the 80's horror films that I missed growing up so My Bloody Valentine is a no-brainer.

I was confused by your comment since the Shout! steelbook has both cuts.

In the case of Lifeforce and WWZ, shout only released the theatrical cuts on UHD. I wrongly assumed this would be the case here.

I’ve never seen The Boogens. I guess this will be a blind-buy for me unless I can find it somewhere to watch.

I was one of the few that went and seen it at the theater when it was released back in 1981 (???).

That’s why I hate cursive writing because that looked like The Boogers.
