Just grabbed one at that price. The Funai built players are actually pretty reliable and BR image quality is fine for such a cheap player.

If the O.P. is still checking this thread try turning off sharpness altogether on both the TV and the DVD player (if it has that setting). Do the same for noise reduction. The fewer "enhancement"...

10,000 BC. Perfectly adequate way to spend a Sunday night. Story was pretty ho-hum, but the movie looked very nice. I can somewhat excuse a bad story if they give me something nice to look at.
