Just grabbed one at that price. The Funai built players are actually pretty reliable and BR image quality is fine for such a cheap player.

Dead. Now $139.99. I wish I had seen your post about the $60 price. I never bought it for $74, but at $60 I would have bought one for a gift at least...

I bought one at $59.99 for my dad/brother/sister who all still live together, and who have never owned a Blu-ray player. Luckily I had a spare HDMI cable sitting around the house. I also picked up some ultra-cheap copies of Toy Story 1 and 2 on BD to give them as their first BD discs.

I feel this is a really nice player especially for the low low price. Image quality seems to be really good. Easy to setup and is also quicker than my Sony 550 player I bought a few years back.
