One other thought. You are going from S-Video to DVR to component? Try using S-Video to DVR to S-Video. Maybe the DVR is acting funny transfering the signal. It should not be, but who knows.

I rented this movie a week ago, and it is in my top 10. I hope 2 and 3 are anywhere as good, because if they are, it might become my favorite trilogy. WOW, what a fantastic first movie.
