Hulu
Maybe one of Forsters final roles RIP
Maybe if you have parents that might need to move to a nursing home or have dementia this might be hard to watch
A lot of arguing and yelling

Starz
It was not bad though the lead can be annoying at times and probably the first time a actress with Indian descent headlined a big studio romantic comedy.

Open Your Eyes (1997)
Some reviews that say the narrative in this movie is entirely consistent, and I can only respond by taking those critics' word for it. The dreams within dreams really threw me for a loop, so the movie wasn't as easy for me to follow as it was for folks more observant than I am or who have sat through it multiple times. I'm sure there are deep-dive articles and videos that explain this movie from start to finish, but those can wait. Right now, I just want to switch to something that involves less mental fornication.

I don't think it is possible to make a great sequel from a comedy.

Wilkolak (2018)
Shot well and filled with solid performances from young actors but lost quite a bit of its steam in its final act.

Wonder why Naomi Watts did this movie unless she wanted to do something different since she is above this drek.

Took awhile to load and one of those early Universal Blu-ray releases and when you pause it and come back after 5 minutes you have to reload the disc.
I still like it though Sharon Stone's character drove me crazy and kind of amazing she was the one that got a Oscar nomination and not De Niro or Pesci.

Just got done watching The Peanut Butter Falcon (2019) on Amazon Prime. It was a good little film with some pretty good acting (until Jake “The Snake” Roberts at the end).

Anti Christ Criterion BD (Rental)
A therapist and his wife try to deal with their grief from losing their infant son.
I remember seeing Lars Von Trier's "Breaking The Waves" and just being knocked out by it. I've never been as taken with any of his subsequent films, though often I appreciate his creative approach. "Anti Christ" was a tough night at the movies; it just hit me like a sledgehammer (repeatedly) and I left the theater with a friend not saying much of anything. Years later, I decided to give it another go. The visuals are stunning, the actors are immensely brave, but by the time I got to the genital mutilation scene, I had to shut it off.

Airport 1975 - Heston, Kennedy, and Karen Black headline this silly disaster sequel. Many of the passenger characteristics would reappear six years later in Airplane!

Amazon Prime
Too bad it never got a Blu-ray release
Great performances and a good soundtrack.
Probably need a Kleenex box for some scenes.

Save Yourselves! (2020)
This is a movie that depends heavily on the audience liking the two leads. If you're a Millennial, you might be able to relate to John Reynolds and Sunita Mani as Jack and Su. They're a thirtysomething couple who want to focus on their relationship during a week-long vacation where they've taken themselves completely offline. Members of the Gen-Y crowd who can laugh at themselves will find Jack and Su amusing as their tech-based life has left them with zero survival skills during an alien invasion. Using a shotgun and driving stick prove to be more challenging for them than escaping the murderous extraterrestrials.
The thing is, you really have to like Jack and Su to enjoy this movie because you're going to be spending a lot of time with them. About 70% of Save Yourselves! follows the two main characters as they attempt to deepen their connection with one another and learn more about themselves. The oddball aliens gradually creep into the story, but it takes a good long while for that part of the plot to get going. In fact, Shaun and his buddies figure out they're living in a zombie apocalypse a lot more quickly than Jack and Su discover that aliens are taking over.
Even if you take a liking to (or laugh at) the couple, you might not be too pleased with the ending of this movie. It takes a pretty surprising turn and the film actually has to put the words 'The End' on the screen so that you realize that the story has concluded. I know some reviewers really love the ending, but I just could not see what they saw. I felt the filmmakers knew how they wanted to start this story but didn't know how to end it. Your mileage is most definitely going to vary.
Save Yourselves! is kind of cute and has a good deal of the quirky vibe you get from a lot of indies. This movie, though, can't hold a candle to Shaun of the Dead, and I'm glad I only paid $3 for the rental.

Kelly Preston was also in this.
Maybe the ending was kind of weak and maybe you have to suspend belief that Arnie would buy and be in love with such a shitty car

The Banana Splits Movie - The original children's show was before my time, and to the best of my knowledge I never saw it in syndication. Still, it's a crazy idea to take an actual children's television program and revamp it years later by having the animatronic characters go haywire and start murdering people. I just wish the movie was better. (VUDU)

The Fear (1995) — Weird enough to keep my attention but not much else works. The acting is, pardon the expression, wooden and characters pretty one-dimensional. At least the work done on 'Morty' was okay and the climax was... interesting, though didn't make a whole lot of sense. **½/*****

I bet if it came out today it would be PG-13 and they would take out all the gore and dumb it down.
I think it might be OOP on Blu-ray.
