Bullet is cheesy fun and it's great to have Walter Hill back in the director's chair.
Expendables 3 is being directed by Patrick Hughes, who directed Red Hill.

Re: The Expendables 3
We did get good Arnold movies in the 90s. Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Total Recall. It was the rest of the 90s that proved problematic
. The Last Stand feels weirdly like it walked right out of that era, it plays almost oddly sincerely. Whether Kim was aiming for something somehow satirical or not, I never figured out, but it has no post-modern smirking, it's just good, old-fashioned fun.
It was severely flawed, and the stories about arguments over who was really in charge on set clearly show in the finished product (Not the least of which was Sly's utter lack of chemistry with Sung Kang), but having Hill back is damn fun, and he brings his usual chops. And Momoa is an awesome villain.
Well, I've never heard of him, but Red Hill seems to have gotten good reviews.

Yeah, that's true, and that was about halfway through the 90s. One of his best. I'm still waiting for the anamorphic versions of it and The Abyss Mr. Cameron. Still waiting.

True Lies was his last GREAT action romp. Eraser was pretty cool, too. True Lies was obviously better, but Eraser had some good shit, as well.

I thought Stallone and Sung had great chemistry. They kept making racist jokes to one another. It was fun.

I like that they're getting some new actors in there, I don't see Lee/Arnold/Bruce coming back...and they need to ditch Lundgren, unless they want to do something other than making him look dumb.

Yeah, that's the last good Arnold flick to me... Collateral Damage and T3 were OK, and The Last Stand I enjoyed, it's not great but it's probably the best 'Arnold' type flick that can be made now imo.

LOVED Last Stand. Dug Bullet To the Head and Stallone and Arnold will be back later this year with The Tomb.

Re: The Expendables 3

yeah film a bunch of ad-libbed shoot outs, fight scenes first, then the scenes with dialogue will be filmed later.
