Re: The Expendables 3

I'm not too keen on John Hyams. Yes, Universal Soldier: Regeneration was great but Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning was absolute crap and I've read that Dragon Eyes isn't any good at all. He'd make a great second unit director (he has the sense to let the audience actually see the action) but I wouldn't want to see him helm another movie.

He'd be great if he got zero studio interference.

With Avi Lerner and Stallon involved... No chance.

Real good compared to what? I've yet to see it and I don't think I ever will.

It's a noir gangster flick, with martial arts. The fights are brutal and Peter Weller plays the lead bad guy. He's bat-shit-insane and revels in it.

Van Damme has a small role in the film and it's John fucking Hyams directing, so on that alone it's worth a view.

Looks like according to Stallone's Twitter Patrick Hughes will be directing. He directed the film Red Hill.

Very cool looking forward to more developments on this.

I'm already prepared to read Snake and Jules disgusting reviews when this opens in 2 years? that the movie was a disappointment because their hands weren't dripping with Semen after attempting to furiously jerk off watching it.

Re: The Expendables 3

I look forward to seeing Jackie Chan in an awesome opening sequence before he parachutes to China, never to be seen again.

Re: The Expendables 3

I still think EX1 is a fun but flawed film. EX2 has a fucking awesome intro and then it just dips in quality fast.

Re: The Expendables 3

I preferred the sequel. It was fun, knew it was silly, and didn't overstay its welcome.

Despite the awkward opening narration, I really dig the director's cut of the first film.

I thought the second was far better than the original.

I'm not a huge fan of The Expendables franchise so far. The concept of the series has failed to live up to expectations for me. I'm hoping Fast & Furious 6 can deliver the goods that'll make me jizz all over my face because I'm so backed up.

And with that, we have the tagline for the poster:

You will jizz all over your face!!

Fixed.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'm out for future Expendables films unless there's a massive increase in quality.

I haven't seen either but have The Last Stand on the way from Amazon and Bullet to the Head looked kinda boring.

The Last Stand is the Arnold movie we should've been given in the '90s. Bullet to the Head is classic Hill.

Re: The Expendables 3

Hopefully all of those pan out.

I thought Wesley Snipes already signed on.

Milla Jovovich.

Any word as to who's writing and directing this one? All this casting news is great but I'd rather see the cast being put together around the script rather than the script being written around the cast.

After having finally seen it, I wholeheartedly agree.

Now I gotta see this one.
