Re: UHD release announcements

I might get the Wolfman 4k

It seems like a really long time ago that I watched it.

Re: UHD release announcements

No mystery title this time on the Paramount scares collection. F13th part 2 will probably get a separate 4k but I'd give at least another year. I never got the hate for Wolfman. I enjoyed it.🤷🏼

Re: UHD release announcements

I'd get The Wolfman only if the 4K UNRATED version is included. I do think it's funny that Paramount is releasing the UNRATED cut of WWZ.

Cut them some slack, they only had a 50/50 chance of getting the glove on the correct hand.

Re: UHD release announcements

I knew Eli Roth's Thanksgiving would get a release on 4k. Sony is putting it out on October 15th.

Re: UHD release announcements

Might upgrade A Nightmare on Elm Street. Is there a reason it only seems to be available through Gruv or Walmart though? I’d prefer to just use Amazon. Also on that other site supposedly there are rumblings of a 4K box set. Maybe it’s better to just wait a bit.

It's up on all the Alliance Entertainment sites like Deep Discount as well as Target too. It'll be on Amazon eventually.

It looks like Kino Lorber has picked up the scuttled UHD releases of Death Ship and Terror Train.

Re: UHD release announcements

I picked up Vice Squad for a fantastic price from a Shocktober Sale a few years back and watched the film, so I can resist the urge to buy this film again. However, it is neat that it is getting a 4K release.

Even if you have seen some of the key parts of this film many times from your Terror In The Aisles film viewings, the real surprise is that spoiled or not, when watching the film from start to finish the quick paced intensity of the final act of the film still holds up.

For years, all I had seen were the bits from Terror In The Aisles, but each time the scenes would pop up you felt like you needed to take a shower after watching as the evilness of Wings Hauser just flows off the screen onto you and you feel the urge to cleanse yourself.

It is such an intense and almost grind house type film that one viewing will be enough for most people for quite a long time.

Dammit. Now I have to watch this soon. I also know it well from Terror In The Aisles but I don't think I ever actually sought it out to watch it in full.
