Nice, I never got around to picking up the Signature Edition from Olive, hopefully it'll have those special features.

For those on the fence regarding the Texas Chain Saw Massacre UHD’s, there’s a $6 coupon on Amazon right now for the standard Dark Sky version. Brings it down to $26 and change after taxes.

I can't say I'm genuinely interested in ever watching that flick (never even had to read the book in school), but I feel somewhat compelled to get it, in the hopes Netflix releases more of their original content on 4K UHD BD.
Technically Supes does kill Zod, Non, and Ursa (well, Lois kills her). They are depowered when Superman lets them fall to their deaths (and Lois punches Ursa to hers) in the bottomless pits of the Fortress of Solitude. Also, doesn't he destroy the Fortress (with them presumably still in it) in the Donner Cut?

I'm not expecting great things from that Vanilla Sky disc. Last year's Blu-ray remaster, presumably from the same 4K transfer, wasn't spectacular. Now an Atmos mix would be tasty.

Re: UHD release announcements
Re Superman- As an option would love to see the original Donner vision restored as closely as possible, that is have the first movie end with Supes throwing the missiles spaceward and moving all of that faster-athan-light go back-in-time to the end of movie two as originally planned. Im sure all of the end of movie 1 wrap-up was shot, but I guess there is too much stuff for movie 2 that wasn’t shot to make it flow.

I am going to wait until The Last Of Us has aired all of the seasons to make sure they don't Lindeloff the ending before buying anything.

Always picking apart my words. I meant folks who haven’t seen it yet. If you watched it week to week and want to own it, great. I’m sure there are some here who heard of this show, but just don’t want to pay for a subscription. That’s what I was trying to convey.

Physical media probably won't even exist by the time this show ends, but sure, go ahead and wait to 2030. The show is going to go multiple seasons and take 1-2 years each to make.

I was wondering about Superman, as about a week ago Amazon told me I would not be getting it until May 11.

It's not official yet -- probably will be on Monday -- but Bullmoose listed a UHD release of Creepshow as coming from Scream Factory on June 27th.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and MGM have announced the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release of Michael B. Jordan’s Creed III on 5/23. The Digital release is now available. Extras will include deleted scenes and a pair of featurettes (Michael B. Jordan: In the Ring/Behind the Camera and There’s No Enemy Like the Past: Donnie and Dame). Note that a Creed Trilogy 3-film collection will also be available on Blu-ray and DVD only that same day.
