No, B2G1 equals approx $260, divided by 3 equals approx $87. Cancel the additional 2 and that’s the price.

Target's doing that again? Crap, gotta find some things I want.
Having preordered this right when it went up mainly to get Part 3 in proper 3D (and there's so many gratuitous 3D gimmick shots in it that it's really pointless to watch it in 2D), I'm pretty pissed that they messed it up. In the old days when we had actual stores to buy these things at, I'd usually watch for comments online about things like this so I could hold off buying them til they were fixed. It was implied that this was going to be very limited so I ordered right away just to make sure I got one at all.
I'll be happy if they put out replacement discs without having to send the old ones back (I'll keep the box as is and keep the others separate) but it's got to cost them a bunch of money every time they have to do that. Who do they have doing quality control who didn't catch these things that average Joes apparently have? Seems like they should hire more people to double-check things before they go printing all the copies they're going to make. I would've happily waited a while longer.
Still, nothing can beat the travesty that was Time-Life's "Laugh-In" set- over 100 shows shot on videotape, ALL with a mangled frame rate looking more like film than video. I could tell within the first few seconds of the first show that something was wrong, yet they let 100+ shows slip through like that. Whoever was responsible for that set should never work in that business again.

You asked how it was done. I didn’t buy it that way.

For those working the system (Ordering 3, canceling 2) on Target's site, here's a comment from someone saying otherwise:
Don't do this. When Target does their final charge on your card at shipping you will almost certainly get charged full price for both movies.

See...beggars never chose or stealers never win. Wait, what’s that saying? Cheaters never win, maybe? Glad I didn’t go this route.

Another thing I never liked about Target is that they hold your money for hostage even if you canceled. They don’t charge, but hold the funds to make sure you have and if cancel, can take up to 30 days for reversal or some shit. Amazon and others never do that for preorders.

who me? I don’t think it’s that bad. It’s not like I’m gonna call authorities. We’ve ALL taken advantage of a glitch one time or another. I mean the Complete Set on Blu-ray for The Good Place. A nice 4 seasons worth of eps and some extras can’t get from streaming for $5.99? Of course, we’ve all twisted the system in our favor for once or twice...

yeah, i was gonna say if the charge/receipt shows $100 or so, then that's it, they legally can't charge any more for than what's on the original receipt. it's certainly not authorized by you, the buyer. even if they did, the bank would reverse in heartbeat and air tight case bc you have the receipt that shows actually bill.

Mine is scheduled to arrive between November 20th and December 1st. I go to track package on my order and it says its moving closer to being ready to ship so maybe I'll get it sooner than that.

I had to cancel my Best Buy shipping order this morning but was able to order it for in-store pickup. Dumb that they told me that it was preparing for shipment for a couple of days to then say delayed. Looks like the stores might have received just one copy each.
