The Halloween set contains ten cases, and the Friday the 13th set includes thirteen cases, so it's going to be about an inch and half wider than Halloween.

You probably won't be able to keep it next to your Halloween set on that shelving system unless you want 60%-70% of it going above the corner. I wouldn't recommend that because I think it might be a fall risk.

I wonder if I should cancel my amazon.ca order and just reorder through the US site. It’s only about an eight dollar difference. Maybe I’ll get it sooner.

Well, my package is in the process of being redelivered. The live tracker shows the truck is in the vicinity of my neighborhood. Hopefully no hiccups today.

Well that sucks about possible errors on the set. I’m sure there will be a replacement program, but that’s kind of a hassle. Same issue happened with one of the films in the Halloween deluxe set.

Also the first pressing of the Army Of Darkness disc was messed up.

Shout has never required you to return the discs. From past experience, they just ask you to email them, give them a proof of purchase and then you will get your replacements in a few weeks. Hardly a hassle.

It's not a proper Shout Factory release without a replacement program. Their quality control inspection is lacking.

I mean it’s cool they do sets like this, but yeah I don’t know why they can’t be more on top of things in the QC department before getting the final product to consumers.

OMG, it's almost 5pm PT and waiting for the UPS driver is liking watching paint drying. He's been within the vicinity of my house all day but never approaches my neighborhood. He just keeps going around in circles.

thanks Josh. I could put it on other side. Certainly don’t need the other F13 collection there, but thought it would look good next to Halloween. I still may put on that side, because it can go over an inch in shelving and still be secure. You can see it can go beyond actual shelf. We’ll see.


I just don’t want fucked up discs. Jason X is fine bc that’s essentially same transfer as previous release and it doesn’t affect extras, I believe. But, missing a scene on the never on Blu JGTH (UR) is just unacceptable. We’re paying for the extra scenes, we want to see extra scenes. It may not be the footage to make UR, but missing any scene is lazy and unacceptable. So I can live with X if extras fine, but I don’t want Hell fucked up.

But, I’m sure Shout! with their great reputation will rectify, so I’m not worried either way. I just can’t wait to have it next Thurs!
