Just watched the Unrated version of Part 1.

Honestly I had not seen it in at least 10 years. Even though it's the movie that started it all, It's not my favorite in the series and it feels dated as hell. But, it was cool to revisit it.

FYI,
Freddy vs Jason and Friday the 13th 2009 are the same previously released discs, Nothing new from Shout on either one.

No I have a 4K TV. So the 3D is worthless to me. The case on Part 3 says Friday the 13th Part 3 3D

I'm skipping around now and popped in the Unrated version of Jason goes to Hell.

Does the case for part 3 have 2 discs, one for 2D and one for 3D?

The third film is just one disc. Only the first film and Jason Goes to Hell are two discs.

Those who ordered from Amazon, be sure to double check all your discs as some reports of weird disc scratches and also duplicate / missing discs.

I just got my order from Best Buy in a few minutes ago. No duplicate or missing discs, but several did have thumbprints and/or light scratches. Hopefully not enough to impact playback.

Well, this certainly sounds like a quality release for the money paid! geez...

eh. i'm not too worried. things go wrong sometimes with behemoths like this. as long as easy replacement program in place who gaf? not me. i'm still pleased with all we're getting now and replacements for whatever in future...

Just double checked my set and everything is good. No duplicate discs and no weird marks other than one of my discs for the first film looked like it had some dust on it or something. Got mine from Shout directly.

So I saw some posts in a few facebook groups saying Shout screwed up Jason Goes to Hell and didn't include the Unrated cut. Is there any truth to that?

It's included but supposedly has one gore shot that is missing.

The good thing is at least Shout is good about fixing their mistakes. It is a pain though and irritating that these errors weren’t caught.

Maybe if they would have taken their time instead of rushing this thing out they would have been caught. I think people would have understood delays during a pandemic as opposed to worrying about replacement discs.

My credit card apparently got declined on my DeepDiscount order (I think I used a card that I got a new one for) and they automatically canceled the order, but it worked out because me and a couple friends are going in on a Target order, ordering 3 of them with the B2G1 brings each one down to 88.66

I wonder how much dough Shout loses on these replacement program. Thousands of dollars, perhaps?

I canceled my Amazon order and placed it at Best Buy. They are already getting ready to ship it for Tuesday while Amazon was sitting on their hands. It wasn't going to get here until Thursday.

Not as much as if they had to repress the entire collections. I'm sure they have the files saved somewhere, so it'd just be the cost of replication on the individual discs and postage.

This is why folks should not cancel the entire set. If you get a set with faulty discs, they'll repress the individual discs, not the entire collection set.

Canceled my Amazon and amazon.ca orders and went through Target’s b2g1.

Cancelled Amazon and ordered thru Target, immediately cancelling 2 of the 3. Total price just under $100.

Its part of the buy two get 1 free sale. The set is still 132 bucks on Target. So the folks here are breaking down cost by 3 items bought with 1 being free. If you use the Target red card, it’s also an extra 5% off.

ah, i thought if you bought 3 and cancelled 2 or something, something was happening to price of remaining. like a glitch. thanks dj.
