Someone on blu-ray.com just got theirs and posted unboxing pics. Yet, others who ordered the first 2 days it was available still don't have tracking numbers. This is bullshit.

Shout said they were shipping a bit early because they wanted to make sure everyone had it on or around release date. Everything is shipping from Kentucky, so they were loading trucks and releasing them based on travel times from KY to your shipping address.

Well I cancelled my first preorder due to an unexpected bill and I wanted to get it shipped to an Amazon Locker instead of my house. I immediately put in another preorder and its telling me mine will ship between November 20th-December 1st. I read online somewhere Shout is doing away with the planned limited number of sets and they will continue to produce the set until their license expires due to the demand.

Get the people who may not have ordered it unless it was "limited" to buy right off and then still make money on it as people want it.
I have never been a fan of true "limited editions." If people want it, print it. "Limited" just creates a bootleg market or makes stuff too expensive for many people who want it can't afford it if they find out about the item too late.

So it sounds like the new uncut footage from Friday the 13th Part 2 doesn’t have audio. Still cool that the footage was able to be recovered though.
Also I misunderstood I guess. I had thought the footage was being spliced into the film for an unrated cut, but it sounds like it’s just an extra feature.

A friend of mine who lives in Pennsylvania received his copy today from Shout.
DiabolikDVD mentioned on their Instagram page that a lot of copies that were sent to them were damaged, so they will be packaging them out to buyers with extra protection.
