I'm sure it will have a reversible cover with the original poster art on the other side so no worries.

More details will emerge on these head-exploding titles next year. Happy Friday!

I've never seen any Scanners sequels, but I love '90s horror so I'm fully buying these. If they aren't sure about a Blu, maybe double up and put both on a BD-50?

Second Sight will be releasing the entire trilogy on Blu-ray, so no need to bother with the sequels from Shout, especially if they're DVD only.

Word. I'm on that, assuming reviews are positive.

Three discs, and I was quite pleased with the transfers on the sequels. I haven't watched the first disc, but I assume the transfer is identical to the Something Weird one. Here's a review.

Cliff said in a Blu-ray.com thread that next July they'll be releasing The Big Boss, Way of the Dragon and Fists of Fury.

Awesome! These will go great with the 40th Anniversary Edition of Enter the Dragon from WB.

Today's titles are:

THE HORROR SHOW AND THE VAGRANT, both of which I'm going to assume are DVD only.

I wanted to watch The Horror Show this year for the Horror Challenge, but I couldn't find it anywhere... and my library has EVERYTHING!

I wonder if they could get House 4? Too bad Image has House 1 and 2 (for those that don't know, this is relevant because The Horror Show was released as House 3 in some areas)

Great news!!! I'll hold off on looking for the old Bruce Lee Ultimate Collection Fox released years ago. I hope Shouts release do the films justice. The Fox Ultimate release I read had some issues with the English dubs being completely remixed with new effects and everything and sounding terrible. So I would hope the original English dub is included along with whatever is the best language to view the films in. Since I know they were shot silent and dubbed in after the fact.

Oh and Shout was great at mailing Terror Train to me quickly and I received it the Friday before the release date. So thanks Shout, and I plan to pick up more releases from them when I can. It'll be too expensive to buy them all right away however. But I need to catch up and get the Halloween 2 and 3 releases for sure, and They Live.

Shout is going to announce their SIX big titles for 2013 this weekend, and possibly the extras for TerrorVision/Video Dead as well.

I'm positive I know 3 of the titles, so I'm expecting to be surprised by the rest.

re: The One and Only Shout! Studios (and Scream Factory!) Blu-ray Thread

the vast majority of 80's and 90's just doesn't do anything for me, unfortunately. I understand that demo is what is driving catalog sales for this stuff, so all I can do is shrug and shuffle off disappointed.
I'm happy for the fans of the stuff, that they are not only being served, but served well- I just wish they would throw older fans a few bones more often.

What I would love to see announced
The Night Stalker/Night Strangler
Planet Of The Vampires
The Car
Phantasm
The Howling
The Fury

not holding my breath though.
