DRAGNET was mentioned a few posts back.

Looks like they also slipped GET SHORTY into the schedule, although I'm not sure that one really needs another release:

https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=6856

Got the tweet earlier today about the CREEPSHOW set and at first glance I was rather hopeful that the booklet might be a reprint of the excellent 1982 tie-in graphic novella drawn by Bernie Wrightson, but alas no. I'm not exactly a massive fan of the movie, but I like it enough and certainly can't deny its status, and that set almost looks like something from the Arrow playbook. Clearly Shout's gonna have a good long run with the Warner catalog.

Why oh why didn't I know this when I bought the bare-bones Creepshow blu, and Just Desserts a few months ago?

Oh well, I'll triple-dip for Creepshow, one of my all-time favorites.

I love Creepshow but already have the UK Blu, so it'll have to be a decent upgrade over that. They do mention new features and a new transfer so that's a good sign.

I'm in the same boat, as is a friend of mine (and I'm sure more than a few others). Hopefully SF understands that and comes up with a really alluring package. I'm open to buying it.

Shout just announced on Facebook the limited edition set of Creepshow is almost out. They expanded the production total to 2,000 units now.

I'm hesitating because it's so expensive at $39 plus tax and shipping and I don't really need the poster, lithograph and book.

I’ll pick up Creepshow but just the standard edition. Also will probably get Trick ‘r Treat. Never seen it but it’s one I’ve always meant to watch.

All these Shout discs are valued $5. No reason to pay more than that unless it never presents itself on 4K. Which they will eventually.

$5?

You do realize that Shout is a small label and they have to pay for licensing and remaster costs for these movies. They aren't just available to them for free. Plus you have to factor in marketing costs and money to pay the production company to film the extras.

Same. The CE looks cool, but not $40.00 cool given it's likely the actual disc will be the same.

All editions come with the booklet, don't they?

I was under the impression that the website offer is just the litho and poster along with the retail disc.

I put a couple of items in my order to pass the free shipping threshold by quite a bit and it still wants to slap a 6.99 charge for shipping on there. What is the deal?

Edit: It would not for some reason allow me to pre-order the Night of the Demons and Creepshow sets together to get free shipping although they release on the same day. I had to split the orders up to get free shipping.

This is both my read of it, and hope. I don't need the poster, but the booklet would be nice. If the extras on disc are good, I'm happy.

And before anyone asks, Scream has already confirmed "Dawn of the Dead" (1978) isn't one of them.

No surprise there. I doubt we'll see anything done with Dawn of the Dead while Rubinstein is still alive.

Yea, you would think the guy would try and make whatever he can off the BD format before 4K/streaming options pop up for him. For the price he is asking he might as well be selling the rights for good.

Have to wonder if one of the 10 will be this little item announced yesterday by Arrow as a Region B release. The director tweeted that there would be a stateside edition, but didn't specify with what company . . .

Damn I was hoping Arrow would release both regions. I don't want another Arrow/Scream double dip.

Hoping for some nice extras on Prophecy, a guilty pleasure that’s trailer scared me to heck as a kid.
