What got left off those releases? First I heard of this. All I know is they left off the Part 3 features to fit the alternate 3D version onto the DVD, which was wonderful thinking, as I've never watched that damn version of the thing once.

I don't recall everything, but a friend of mine produced the extra features for 4-8, and he said they found TONS of awesome materials in Paramounts vaults. The studio ended up cutting a lot of their stuff for the discs.

Over on Blu-ray.com, Cliff said that they don't have the rights to Prince of Darkness.

I'm sure they'll make an effort, PoD is a title tailor-made for Scream. I guess we're done with announcements for the year, although I'm still hoping December will bring at least one title.

That honestly does surprise me, when you consider that out of the main five films being released this year under the line, three of them had Carpenter involved; it just seemed like it would be a natural fit.

I had all but assumed PoD would be released in November along with They Live. Perhaps there was a last-minute complication or disagreement?

Those interested in the They Live poster should hurry:
Note: The poster allotment for the DVD has sold out; however, posters are still available in a very limited quantity with the Blu-ray.

I like the new art for They Live, but I am happy they went with the artwork that showed up on the R1 and R2 DVDs.

Is the poster going to be folded up like a rectangle, when it will be delivered, or is the extra mile going to be taken by being rolled up in a container so no creases will be on the poster?

I am guessing folded since posters were folded during that "era". I think rolling didn't come around until the late 80s IIRC.

It was around 1984, I believe. Not sure why I know that, seeing as how I was 3 and all.

Lol that's a weird explanation but im guessing the poster would be folded up. Too bad because if I were going to spend the extra cash to get the poster, it would be because im getting a pristine poster that I can get framed. If it's creased up then forget it.

The poster art was always awesome and striking though. I remember seeing the cover at rental stores for years, but never renting it for some reason (probably persuaded by all the bad reviews I've read in movie guides and such), but the cover was eye catching and made me wonder what the film had in store. So watching it belatedly, the film did entertain me despite the terrible reviews. Of course my opinion could change today since I must've been in the right mood when viewing it back then.
