Me likey cover. Also, will this new edition contain the extras from the European version?

I hope the first wave of this will include a stick of bubblegum. Heh.

For those interested, here's some insight into the creation of the cover art from the artist's blog:

Actually I like the original cover better.. this one seems like they are trying to capitalize on the zombie marketing that is so prevelent today..

Not saying I don't like it.. just I like the other better..

I'm guessing this release might sell all 500 posters before release date.

There's also this, from that link:

The guys at Scream Factory wanted me to use the original title treatment, however! i am hoping to do a limited edition print run of this (when the websites up) and will be shifting the text elements around to make it more theatrical poster esque, so i will also have to change the title treatment which im toying with the idea of putting it in Italian 'Essi vivono'... watch this space!!!

I'm not a slip guy, so I'll likely go all-black for the Scream line by buying a bunch of $5 Korean cases on ebay.

Have you begun work on Deadly Blessing, Phantasm 2, The Island or Death Valley yet? Also, are you guys expecting the whole first batch of titles to be released by year's end?
Not yet...And no, some will be first quarter 2013
I'm guessing They Live will be the only November title then. Hopefully we'll get at least one in December.

I wonder if this means we can expect any Paramount horror titles from Scream.

it'd be nice if they could finish the F13 series along with maybe APRIL FOOL'S DAY and THE DEAD ZONE

There are quite a few titles in there I'd love to see Shout tackle, but none more so than the F13th series. It would be doubly awesome if they could somehow include the bonus materials produced for the deluxe editions of 4-8 that Paramount left off the discs.

I know little about Shouts releases, but the fact that they're releasing Duellests, they now have my full attention. Can we expect a good amount of extras? I'm wondering if 1492 will now see the light of day.

Never mind, Shout's deal is only for The Duellist and Portrait of a Lady.
