Would've been great if they were able to get any BTS or featurettes with Bronson, although I know he was notoriously difficult to get on camera off set.

On Ebay, Blowitoutahere has a deal where you get additional discount when you buy multiple items. You wait until ebay has a site coupon and combine it with their deal. They are part of of the same company as deepdiscount.

Amazon has the recently released Scream version of Urban Legend on sale for $17.48 currently. It’s showing as back ordered for one to two months but I ordered a copy anyways.

Scream Factory developed several excellent new special features for the recent Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 collector's edition. Did anyone got the limited edition with Ricky figurine?

Shout/Scream Factory are running a 15% off sale currently. Not a bad deal considering that they sell their Blu-ray’s direct for less than places like Amazon. Picked up:
Candyman ($21.19)
Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 ($21.19)
Urban Legends: Final Cut ($20.39)
Over $50 gets free shipping so all said and done my total is $62.77. Not too shabby considering all three are fairly new releases.

At this point I would pay $21 to upgrade The Jerk.
Grudgingly, but I'd pay it 'cause the prices elsewhere are even more ridiculous.
Unfortunately I'm hard pressed to come up two more titles to get to free shipping so it looks like this is another highly anticipated Q4 sale I'll be skipping in 2018.

I almost forgot about the "not much of a sale" sale but did nab Candyman, Bubba Ho-Tep, and Ravenous -- which is a perfect winter time horror flick.

Considering that they have them marked down from what they’ve been selling for regular price at other places recently I’d say it’s not a bad sale. For instance Candyman is $29.52 currently on Amazon but regular price on Shout’s site directly is $24.93. On top of that you get the 15% off which gives another $3.74 off. Overall this is closer to what these types of titles would have sold for before the recent price hikes, maybe a little less. I’ll still take getting these newer releases at a discounted rate. The only problem for some might be getting enough titles to get the free shipping. All of what I got was stuff I wanted so it worked out well for me.

I have like $43 in GC balance at Amazon and was debating whether or not to get the new 8MM BD release.
Even though it's holiday GC money, I don't know if 8MM is worth $27. I haven't seen it since I saw it back in theaters in 1999. I recall enjoying it even though it's really dark and kind of sleazy.

Decided to pre-order 10 to Midnight with my Amazon GC.
There's currently a 5% coupon, so it comes out to $26 and change. Not cheap, but at least it's not money out of my pocket. Plus it seems to have a decent amount of extras for a 35 year old movie.
It's one of my favorite Bronson cop thrillers from the 1980s.

That's a really nice set of extras. I haven't watched the movie in almost 18 years, but at least at the time, I liked Valentine well enough (despite the overly cut gore), and I'm looking forward to giving it another spin (if the price is ever right).

Yeah I last saw Valentine circa 2001-2002
If I can get it at an affordable price, I wouldn't mind adding it to my horror collection. As I said earlier in this thread, Valentine has a nice assortment of attractive women for an early 2000's horror flick.
But, I'm not counting on getting it anytime soon due to Shout's inflated prices.
A friend got me the new Urban Legend 2-disc set for Christmas. It's a really cool set, but again Shout's prices are so inflated that I can understand the average joe not being able to afford them.

Is it my imagination or is Shout releasing more products lately? It occurred to me that if they find themselves sitting on a sudden glut, that could move them to (finally) having a Kino-style direct sale.

That's a strange choice to do a Scream Factory BD. I bought the movie used on BD for $5 at some going out of business sale at my local video store a few years ago. I think I'm good.

Some info from the Facebook post:
• National street date for U.S. only (Region A) is April 23rd
• Release will come with a slipcover (guaranteed for three months after its original release date).
• The newly-commissioned artwork pictured (and Director-approved) comes to us from Devon Whitehead (Valentine, Trick r Treat). This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will the original theatrical poster design.
• Extras are still in progress and will be announced later in March. What we can confirm today is that will have an all-new in-depth lengthy interview with Roth and cast members. Additionally, any extras that were on the prior release of the film will be ported over.
• A unique surprise from us: Each release will come with a never-before-released CD soundtrack of the score by composer Manuel Riveiro and includes bonus tracks, which will make this a 2-disc set.
