Definitely will upgrade on Richard III, but between my old DVD and the MoC Blu-Ray, is there anything new on the CC Repo Man?

I want a blu-ray of Ian McKellan's Richard III, and since that was an MGM title, I think Criterion could make it happen - would've been cool to co-release with the Oliver version.

I'm soooo hoping that Friedkin gets Sorcerer to CC. C'mon, CC. You know you want to have the great original AND the fucking awesome Friedkin remake. Make it so, CC.

Apparently there's been some speculation that Scanners is one of the films hinted at in the New Year's cartoon. I'd love a Criterion edition of Scanners.

Even more, I would love a Criterion edition of Shivers.

I read a comment on some site that Criterion posted a picture of Cronenberg visiting their offices on their Facebook page months ago?

The MoC blu is awesome. Bought a region free player just to get it.

Hell, just do a Early Cronenberg set that includes Scanners, Shivers, Rabid, and The Brood. I guess "Fast Company" could be left out as it doesn't really fit and Blue Underground put out a pretty good blu of it already.

Is the guy in the left window, third from the top, supposed to be the exploding head from Scanners? If so, they should've put glasses on him.

All of the Tati movies are officially out of print, according to criterion.com. I went ahead and snagged one of the last remaining copies of the Playtime blu off of Amazon just a minute ago.

I could swear I remember seeing somewhere that The Brood was announced for Blu-ray from another distributor ...

But there are also people who say that the clue is for Babette's Feast, not Naked Lunch. I get that it could be interpreted either way, but it would be a late lunch, if the time on the clock is to be believed. I'm not saying it's not coming, just that the clue on that picture is hardly definitive.
