It wouldn't be the first time that a title was announced within a month of being hinted at in the newsletter. (For example, Repo Man was hinted at in December and announced in January.)

Which isn't to say that it will happen this time - I'm just throwing out random guesses based on what we know they're working on.

Not an amazing month, but I fucking love Life is Sweet, and it's great to see it finally getting an R1 release.

I've never heard of Jubal, but it's also nice to see some more westerns in the collection.

Likewise. I do have it on DVD, but a blu-ray upgrade would be nice for that.

I'd also like to see some John Duigan films, particularly Flirting and The Year My Voice Broke.

I'd love to see more Ken Loach in the collection. I've only seen a few of his films, but Kes is one of my all-time favorites, and I really liked Looks and Smiles and Sweet Sixteen.

My Name is Joe is one of the seven films on the BFI's list of the top 100 British films that I haven't been able to get a hold of/watch, so I'd be particularly interested in a good release of that.

I doubt Criterion would be interested, but I also wish some kind distributor would get around to releasing The Angels' Share here in the US.

Criterion needs to get their hands on some Lukas Moodysson. With the exception of On The Waterfront, these past couple months have been very "meh".

Same here. A disappointing month in my opinion.

I actually haven't been able to muster up much enthusiasm for On the Waterfront - it's certainly a very important film, but it's never been one of my favorites by Kazan. Badlands, Chronicle of a Summer, Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, A Man Escaped, and Life is Sweet are the highlights of the next few months, in my opinion. But I agree that their slate so far this year hasn't been overly inspiring.

A boxset of Moodysson's first three films - Show Me Love, Together, and Lilya 4-ever - would be incredible.

How awesome we're getting the original 3:10 to Yuma. I've been hoping for a BD at some point.
