Anyone post pics of Dharma set?

Dharma set looks cool, but for the price I had to go with today's Amazon deal of all 5 on blu for $108!! Was going to wait till ALL seasons were done, but that deal was too sweet to pass up!!

Snapped some shots of the Best Buy exclusive set...




A slipcover over a slipcover! It should also be noted that the little pouch where the Extras DVD (it is a DVD) and luggage tag is does not look like it should be removed as it's actually built into the outer slipcover.

They had about 7 copies of the blu-ray version and a bazillion copies of the DVD version... none of the Dharma Initiative Initiation Kit blu-ray/DVD sets had the exclusive materials included.

Same here. I broke my own rule about TV on DVD. Hopefully we don't get burned when season 6 hits.

I doubt we'll get burned. Damn and Carlton have always been about the fans, I doubt we'll see some uber set that screws all the loyal fans out of some cool shit.

My guess is that an uber set will have some novelty things that really don't matter in the scope of things and/or current buyers will be able to order a bonus disc or something containing the extras with PoP tabs.

Dharma set is awesome. I couldn't resist. I'll try to get pics up later but if anyone can beat me to it, that's more than cool.

I had it in my hands, but with the Christmas shopping and a pretty stacked new release week for me, I couldn't justify it. I look forward to the pictures!

I have the Best Buy exclusive. The Dharmasets looks pretty cool IMO. I''ll probably pick it up eventually.

I'll be damned if after five season releases they still can't get two of the spines to line up. LOST, the picture and the season number are all jacked up and down for each season. I don't mean to nitpick but it doesn't look the greatest on the shelf.

I have watched the 1st two seasons. Enjoyed them. Then got bored with the first 5-6 episodes of Season 3 and gave up. But I went for the Blu-ray deal today. Will make a good Christmas present for the wife.

Ya know, I did the same thing for Season 3... I watched the first 5 episodes and I thought I was done with the show. Put it on the shelf and waited 6 months. I will say that once you get past those episodes the season picks up greatly and the earlier episodes make a lot more sense. I plowed through last 3/4 of S3 and all of S4 in like a week after that.

Now I'm on episode 5 of Season 5. After 1 day. It gets damn good.

yeah - I really don't understand this at all. It's not really that hard to create a template and use that year after year.

I may need to scan all the covers in and tweak them to line up correctly.

All looks somewhat good...but Season 4 'spine picture' is too small. Blu-ray logo does not match on S4 to S5. Season 3 is not shiny. Season 3 has an awesome cardboard slip that looks dumb since Disney went cheap (after HD DVD folded ). Numbers don't flow correctly. I'm sure there is more... but I dont have S5 yet.

Is it true that there is additional content included in the discs in Dharma Initiative Orientation Kit? the set is way overpriced if they have the identical content as the regular set, especially for 5 measly discs.

I love the show and I will gladly fork over the eventual double-dipping on the complete series set (still gotta upgrade to BD anyway), but an "oversized cardboard box with a folder and papers" for a season set at that price is way too steep, and I wonder if they'll include the same exclusive content on the Dharma kit in the complete series set. Ugh!
