Let's call it a diorama. I like my collectibles but hate having my things called toys.

I'm not sure if this season's Blu-Ray actually has better picture quality but LOST has never looked better!

Yes, the hatch would be awesome as a complete series set! But I'd like Taweret and the island itself even more!!! *drools*

One thing missing in this set that are in the other sets: an insert with the episode names and which ones have commentaries. Very useful. Otherwise, I'm playing the guessing game.

This has really pissed me off. Was there an insert for season 5 on dvd? If there was then I'm pissed as they would have the template and simply need to alter the size and print them up. Plus, they already had the templates from the first two seasons and didn't bother putting them in the Blu-Ray set which was shitty on their part.

The lack of inserts is truly annoying. I kind of want to type up episode listings for each season and print them on the back of the cover art.

I don't mind anymore not having inserts with chapter listings for movies like the old days. However, every tv show should have at least a listing of the episodes or an insert with episode information and on which disc they're on. This and the inability to lineup the information on the spines of the season releases are the only faults I can find with the release of LOST on BD.

That.

Don't care about movies, but for TV Shows, I need Episode Title + Description because sometimes I forget where I left off.

Very minor nitpick or some kind of mindgame... it looks like whoever programs the SeasonPlay feature goofed when they switched to 3 eps per disk.

In the transition from disk #1 to #2, there's a spoiler in one of the pop-up photos for a character who only first appears in Ep #4.

There's no insert, but the episodes/disc contents are listed on the inside of the case.

Personally, I prefer the episode titles to be printed directly onto the disc instead of just the episode numbers.

Was it your first time viewing it? The season finale was incredible this past season, and immensely overwhelming... so I can definitely understand your reaction to it.

Re: Lost: The Complete Fifth Season: December 8th

I'm kind of upset at the rebate offer in the DVD set. It says with the PoP tab in the DVD set, and the PoP tab in the blu-ray set, along with the receipts for both one gets you a $20 rebate.

Problem is: there IS no tear-off PoP tab in the blu-ray set! The PoP is part of the box! I'm not cutting the box apart to get the PoP tab!

Why they didnt include tear-off tabs like they did with the DVD set?

Where are you supposed to tear it off from? The Blu-rays come in a Blu-ray case, the DVDs had digipaks. At least the small cuts you have to make are easily covered by the slipcovers.

They could have printed them up and included them on an insert. I think they count on a lot of people not willing to cut their set up to get the rebate. This way they look good for offering knowing that npt everyone will follow through for this exact reason. This is why I didn't do it although I should have.

No, not with the bluray version. Where you would have to make the cuts would cut off part of the picture that is seen thru the inside of the case. And it would be extremely noticable. I'm not doing that to my case. Oh well.
