it's the closest hidef transfer to create a faux 3D look (minus the glasses).
'Samsara' is getting shown over at the AFI Silver on their new 4K Chrisite DLP projector (and in 7.1) tomorrow morning - I'm gonna see it again on the big screen.

I grew up with the 60's action figures, not the comics but it's got some action to keep you interested

The Game.
Enjoyed it again (last time I watched it was in '97), but was again frustrated by its ending. Could have concluded in a MUCH more plausible way.

(500) Days of Summer...my seminal classic. just thoroughly enjoyable all the way around. great lead performances, nice simple story. not a love story as excl;aimed in the beginning, but to me it is a refreshing love story.
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox...not bad, not bad at all. nice violence, good story, exciting in some parts, confusing in others, but overall probably 2nd for me after Wonder Woman in the DC Universe of animated films.

Finished the season. Enjoyable in spots, but I doubt if I'll bother with season 2. Overall, it just felt like lazy writing.

Better than I expected.

G.I. Joe Retaliation
Terrible and the cartoon series and the toys were better. Channing Tatum sucks so bad and he is the worst actor ever in the history of cinema!!
The Matrix
The Incredible Burt Stone. I liked it and it is not that bad and I had a couple of chuckles and a sweet story.
Mental. Only rented it since Liev Schreiber was in it but too many girls in the cast and could not relate.

G.I. Joe Retaliation 3D
It looks and sounds great, and the 3D conversion was really well done.
The film itself is so-so. The only two actors to have any real chemistry together are Dwayne Johnson and Channing Tatum. Sadly, the latter is an over-glorified cameo and Johnson is stuck babysitting two lifeless sidekicks. Bruce Willis is sort of there but honestly feels like he was only available for two days of filming and they really had no idea how to work him into the story. The first 20 minutes are entertaining and the battle across the snow covered mountains was fun (even if the showdown between Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes was unfortunately lackluster). Jonathan Price looks like he's having a great time and the film could have benefitted from more of Ray Stevenson.
