Maybe Melissa McCarthy and Adam Sandler are similar where they somehow end up making the same movie over and over and still make money at the box office.

The Road

First time seeing it. It was good but not great. The kid was really poorly written and his final decision made no sense. Well, I guess it made sense for the kid cos he was a moron.

PQ is decent but the over processed look of the film is a bit much at times and there was some blocking in the shadows during one nighttime scene. The AQ is good but except for scenes in the rain, a fire, and a couple of earthquakes there's not much to the sound design. But I guess that's appropriate given the sense of isolation the film is going for.

Oz the Great and Powerful

I wasn't expecting a lot from it, so I was really surprised by how much I ended up liking it.

Couldn't get into this movie. It seemed like the first hour was hard to understand whispering. We gave up on it.


Sherlock Holmes Game Of Shadows

Surprised all these big stars like Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, Hugh Jackman, and Dennis Quaid signed up for a gross out comedy or it was a FU to all the people who think they do just dramatic movies.

Ponyo - I think I found it charming the first time I watched it, but creepy this second time.

A great movie for keeping the fantasy alive that any Joe Schmuck can be the object of the affection of a famous movie star. Where's Jennifer Anniston? I'm sure she'll fall in love with me at first sight.
