It sure as hell looks beautiful and the cinematography is excellent but I was not too crazy about it. There is a lot of symbolism and there are homages to Hitchcock. Park Chan-wook does what he can to try and improve what IMO is a weak story/script. So you basically get a film that is strong in style but weak in substance.

The Place Beyond the Pines...goes into directions that are unexpected and a little confusing, but ultimately satisfying and a really good movie.

Bored silly by Halloween 5.
Enjoyed Love and Other Drugs, for more reasons than Hathaway nudity.
Movie 43, well, it has its ups and downs, some great skits, some horrible ones (the iBabe). BEEZLE, though, stole the fucking show. Amazing. Simply, amazing. The thought bubble scenes alone are worth the cost of the film, and I applaud Duhamel's sense of humor filming that shit

Bullet To the Head

I thought it was a new release but it came out on July 16 (Warner Bros). Guess I wasn't paying attention.

Rented the BD for Pain and Gain:

My local video store put it out a few weeks early. Was going to watch a little tonight, but it has a running time of 129 minutes. Will watch it tomorrow (or later today I should say)

Snow White And The Huntsman
Not really sure why I bought this other than it was at a Blockbuster sale and I needed some titles. Saw it in the theaters and it has some interesting action, but everyone screams a lot which I find annoying.

Just finished watching the BD for Pain and Gain.

For anyone who is considering buying it on the 27th, be warned, it's barebones. No extras. Not even a trailer.

That is a massive photo lol

42

I liked it

Broken Arrow. 1990's Travolta was the best.

What happened to John Woo?

It was OK I guess but found most of the action anti-climactic. Never really built up much suspense.

MIB 3. Nowhere near as bad as MIB 2, a little bit short of MIB 1. All in all, was worth the 3 or 4 bucks I paid for it.

WWE MITB 2013.

The Dark Knight Returns: Part 1

Really impressed with how closely the animation resembled Frank Miller's artwork from the comics.

Emperor

I thought there would be more scenes with Tommy Lee Jones but Matthew Fox is the lead.

Say Anything...

how can you ever go wrong with this excellent Cameron Crowe homage to John Hughes.
