re: Last BD or 4K UHD disc you watched?

I have to wait 3 more weeks at Netflix for Gangster Squad.

About Cherry

Spoiler:
A girl gets money from a photo shoot and moves to SF and works for a Lesbian porn director (Heather Graham) and dates James Franco a drug addicted lawyer who gives her coke.

Dev Patel the guy from Slumdog Millionaire is her best friend and roommate and spanks his monkey watching her movies.

Whoever made this should be paid double for making this masterpiece.

Watch it on the Showtime channels.

Jack Reacher

A good locale in Pittsburgh and nice seeing Robert Duvall in a long time but a long and kind of slow movie.

Expected More.

Back when Mickey Rourke was handsome. The guy doesn't age well.

Iron Man 2 I know a lot of people didn't like this one. I loved it, always have. Love the scene with Favreu and Johannsen at Hammer Industries. A sexy bitch that knows how to fight. Damn! Thought the climactic fight scene was good but they could have drawn out the fight with Ivan a bit longer.

Becoming a boxer and getting multiple plastic surgeries did not help.

The Details

The Guilt Trip Really sweet comedy and just an overall pleasant time.

Jack Reacher Great 70's style whodunit. The marketing didn't do this film justice.

The Dark Knight Rises

I'm still disappointed they didn't at least mention the Joker, and I hope Joseph Gordon Levitt will eventually take over for Bale.

He's briefly addressed in the novelization. The basic gist is that Arkham Asylum was emptied when all the inmates were sent to Blackgate. The sole exception was the Joker who was left in the Asylum. No one knew if he died there or eventually escaped. And it seems no one cared either way.

I guess in the end he was "just some nut" (as Gordon described Batman in BB) to the citizens of Gotham and not worth bringing up, despite all the mayhem he put them through.
