Dead Snow - Loved it the first time I saw it, even better last night watching it with a group of people that have never seen it. Definitely in my top tier of zombie-films.

Beauty And The Beast followed by Hard Candy. I have no idea why I chose to watch Hard Candy immediately after a Disney Classic.

No idea. I read "Blu ray.coms" review, and they found the video quality to be much more impressive then I did. The problem for me isn't so much the transfer, but the camera they used. The Viper lacks the detail and crispness of other digital sources such as the RED One (MX), Sony F35 and Panavision Genesis. On top of that I found the purple "halo" several times, and I wasn't looking for it, so it was painfully obvious to me. I just thought Fincher was too hung up on not using tape that he settled for a "mediocre" digital image when he could have used higher end digital and/or 35mm cameras. Although it was intentional, the desaturated look of the film sucked any of the "pop" the image might have originally had, where as films like Saving Private Ryan, and Letters from Iwo Jima look bleak but still visually pleasing. The visual style for the most part was boring, which added to my less then positive opinion of the video quality.

Death At A Funeral Had some chuckles and laughs however most of the characters were not very likeable. A lot of screaming, whining and complaining.

In the Loop - I actually ended up liking this movie a lot more than I thought I would, I also laughed quite a bit more than I would have ever guessed. Good blind buy for me!
