Killers After hearing all the terrible things about this movie I went in with very low expectations. This was nothing revolutionary but the charm of the leads carries the material very far. My wife and I found it pretty entertaining. A C+
Iron Man 2 Saw it in the theater, first time on disc. looks and sounds as good as youi would expect a new movie to be. Scarlett is smoking hot in that leather suit

Raging Phoenix From the producers of Ong Bak and Chocolate, starring JeeJa Yanin (the girl from Chocolate).
I didn't like this movie. It barely had a plot (something about a kidnapping ring) and even the martial arts (a mixture of thai martial arts, capoira and drunk boxing/hip hop?) was weak. I'm sorry that I spent money on it. However, the PQ and AQ were outstanding. Good job by Magnolia.

Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinski
A very nice and classy marriage of music, fashion and cinema dealing with the passions of those things which lead one's life and decisions.
It ended on a bit of a dull note, but I suppose that was intentional.
It's extremely well made and beautiful to look at throughout - perfect for HD.

Jonah Hex DVD - Not as bad as people made it out to be. Read JH growing up, it was cool to see him in a live action movie.
Sure, they could have made it a little more "R" instead of PG, but I still had fun watching it. I'm glad I did not spend $40 taking the whole family to it, but a DVD rental was a good price.
Thought the actor made JH come alive, it was the Wild Wild West story line that should have been changed. More bounty hunter stuff, seeking revenge for the death of his family...that would have been better. JH should have been a mean SOB that everyone was afraid of.
Anyway, I had fun watching the movie.

After putting it off for about a week I finally watched The Thin Red Line. Criterion did an amazing job to say the least. I opted to watch it through amplified headphones as well so it was quite an experience.
And get this...the last time I watched this was on VHS ! I was a little too young then to appreciate it, but this time through it was, understandably, like seeing it for the first time.
