Whip It. 8/10.

It was a total blind-buy for me and I enjoyed it quite a bit more than I thought I would. An awesome directorial debut by Drew Barrymore.

Give 'Em Hell Malone - Wow, this movie is just all different kinds of bad. PQ was equally attrocious.

Transformers 2 As much as I agree about the shortcomings of this movie I do find myself watching it fairly often

Silverado Hadn't seen this in years, Good flick, excellent detail however the color palette did not offer a natural, outdoorsy look.

Redbelt - Love the movie, I actually liked it even more seeing it for the first time since in theaters, the first half of it is a perfect film, the plot gets so absurd in the last quarter of it that it does hurt the film as a whole. But I am a shill for Mamet & still totally dig the film.

Greatest Game Ever Played A fantastic movie and without a doubt one of the most beautiful BR discs I own. This was one of my first "must have's" that I upgraded to BR and watch it several times a year.

Payback Straight Up: The Director's Cut. A much better cut of the film that the theatrical version (IMO, of course).

Just watched Stardust and The Frighteners on Blu-ray today. Both look and sound great! I was one of the many burned by the HD-DVD/Blu-ray war and own a lot of exclusive HD-DVD's and I'm slowly converting them to blu-ray.

I now own blu-ray players for each TV and no longer use the HD-DVD players, so it's nice to be able to play these exclusives on my blu-ray players.

Until these titles are officially released on blu-ray I'll be satisfied with my copies.

I watched "Boondock Saints." I had saw this film over ten years on a worn out VHS tape and wasn't that impressed. On BD it looked much better and actually liked the movie better the second time around.

Saw - I'd seen it before, but I only just realized that it stars two Lost alums, Ben and Miles. Thanks to the power of Blu-Ray! (j/k )

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Big Screen Edition). I enjoyed it. Thought it was at least as good as the first. The IMAX scenes were fabulous.

Mama Mia Admittedly a goofy musical with only a couple people that can sing and dance. But for some reason I just find this movie a freakin hoot.

I love this movie too. I'll have to revisit my Blu-ray sometime.

Last watched: LOST - The Complete Fifth Season. What an insane and absolutely brilliant wild ride. I can't wait to see how the show ends starting tomorrow.

I just rewatched the last few episodes myself, Juliet in high def

I'll be revisiting some eps from each season tomorrow, especially 'The Constant' from Season Four.

The House of the Devil - I love everything West did to put this film together as a lost piece of cinema from the 80's. Even with the mounting sense of dread, it does lag a bit in the middle, but the ending mostly makes up for it. PQ is grainy as hell, but well-defined and as good as the film is likely to look. AQ is solid, great atmosphere. Only watched deleted scenes so far, throw away stuff.

I watched Zombieland (blind buy) last night as well as this (rental) and wish I had done the reverse. Man, I literally thought this was a film from the 80's and a pretty damn excellent one too. Zombieland was good but not blind buy good.

"Goodnight and Good Luck". It looked gorgeous, although the menu wasn't working right. Netflix rental.

And I have to say, it was a fucking revelation.
Probably the best HD video quality I've seen of any movie that's more than 20 years old.
