Panic Room & the first Charlie's Angels for me.

I remember seeing Panic Room and thinking it was good. It starred a young Kristen Stewart who now is going on to be a draw in her own right. It's sat on the shelf since the initial viewing so I'm not sure what I'll do. Charlie's Angels are just good stupid fun. If and when those are priced right (not $29.99 each) I'll grab those.

I wish they'd charge less for catalog titles too, but you of all people should know by now that every Disney BD is $34.99.

Well, that is, except for titles with a digital copy, and a couple of titles from early last year before the format war ended such as The Rock.

Yeah, but I'll still complain. The BDA says we're moving into "mass market" stage. Disney hasn't gotten the memo yet based on this price.

Definitely will be picking those up. Hopefully the UK release of Panic Room will have all the extras from the 3-Disc.

I've had the original Rounders DVD for the past 10 years, it may be time to upgrade at the first sale.

Does that include a better script?

Good to see Wizard of Oz has some artwork posted, can't wait to find out the date.

The Wizard of Oz looks like it might be in the same type of packaging as the latest 300 Collectors Edition DVD.

Hopefully they won't be PAL either.

I think they'll release it here anyway though. Sony hasn't made any official announcements for April yet, if I'm not mistaken.

That's great news. Fox really seems to be putting forth a good effort these days when it comes to carrying over the old material on catalogue titles, and in many cases they've really been upping the ante. I'm impressed. Hope they keep it up.

Glad they didn't recycle the MPEG2 transfer they probably had sitting around for 06/07.

Just because it's a different encode doesn't mean it isn't the same transfer.

I've known about the Silence of the Lambs BD release coming for a while now. Not sure when It was first put on schedule. Anyway, I plan on picking it up eventually. Maybe during the next Columbia House B1G1 but even then I'm not sure if I'm sold on it for the price.
