The owner confirmed they were HD-DVDs and the prices were correct.

You can e-mail him here: [email protected]

I have almost all the titles on his list (except FMJ and Apollo), so I'll order when he gets some new stuff.

I'll post it here too:

The following titles are $13.59 each shipped from DDD:

Galaxina
Golgo 13
Night of the Werewolf (El Retorno del Hombre Lobo)
Sister Street Fighter
That's the Way of the World
Vengeance of the Zombies (La Rebelión de las Muertas)

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/forma...lectedLetter=H

This beats the pants off Amazon's prices ($15-$20 after discount).

Good luck getting them. I've had a few on pre-order and it seems BCI has delayed their releases indefinitely.

My order of Apollo 13 and We Were Soldiers from MJEntertainment shipped yesterday. Only took one day to get out, which is quicker than Amazon for me! Now if they would only get some more titles.

For those of you eager to get Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift but don't want to pay $35, Walmart.com offers it shipped for $20.93.

Yeah, not to take this off-topic, but I've been really curious about the BCI situation. They were VERY early to announce titles (back in April) and even had a pretty detailed press reelase. Then delay, delay, and now what looks strangely like a cancellation. With no real reason given. It's strange.

Personally, I wasn't going to buy any of them (although I probably would have rented Galaxina, which I haven't seen in years). But I think that the more small labels like that releasing in HD, the better. It's unfortunate that they don't seem to be able to get off the ground with their titles.

That looks like a pic error. If you search for this title, the HD DVD is priced at $29.27. That link is for the dvd + an exclusive bonus disc. They are using the wrong picture.

Maybe you could use it to price-match?

I'll give it a try at Best Buy.

Mine does...for Target. I do it every time.

I don't know if they'll do Wal-Mart since we don't have them in NYC.

Mine does some type of instant price match right at the register. Apparently, they have a list of "pre-approved" stores that they will automatically PM ...which includes Walmart.

Thanks for the tip. This was the first time I was ever able to PM with a print out. I'm quite happy that it was luckily this HD title because it was a sweet price.

Since I've seen some people here complain about the way Amazon has handled HD DVDs, I'm copying this email that I just sent to Amazon:

I pre-ordered both of these almost as soon as they became available. These were both scheduled to release on Tuesday, September 26th, and they did. However, neither of them shipped to me. I had next day shipping on Robin Hood, and 2-day shipping on Terminator 3. Throughout yesterday and most of today, the shipping estimate for Robin Hood remained September 27th (today's date) and September 28th, a delivery estimate neither could make since they had not been shipped. Then, tonight, I notice both have been delayed by as long as two weeks. This is unacceptable. I have cancelled both orders and bought them at Best Buy for more money. These releases should have been shipped early so that I received them on the day of release, not shipped late so I'm forced to spend more money somewhere else. What if these were gifts? Should I just tell people, "Oh, I'm sorry, your birthday gift didn't arrive because Amazon is jerking me around"? I've spent thousands of dollars on this site in the past 6 months, and I have many HD DVDs on pre-order with your site, for discs that will be released as late as November. I like your site. Your prices are good and Amazon Prime is a good deal. I have an Amazon credit card, so I'm fully invested in what you offer. But this is a real blow to my confidence in your site's abilities to get me the products I ordered in a timely fashion. I would like to know what you're doing to rectify this situation. Furthermore, I notice you have HD DVDs that are readily available at physical stores (movies like Troy and The Manchurian Candidate) that your website doesn't even acknlowedge as having been released. I am willing to spend a lot of money on HD DVD, and I would like to spend it here. But if you continue to mess around with releases like this, I will be forced to take my money elsewhere.

I saw 2 Fast and 2 Furious at my BB for 19.99. Fast and the Furious was 24.99 though.

2 Fast and 2 Furious was 19.99 at my BB too. But it rung up at 24.99. I didn't notice that until I got home and had already opened it.

Still got the price tag and receipt? They should adjust the price.

Still got the receipt but trashed the price tag before I realized it. It's not that big of a deal really. When I go back to pick up The Adventures of Robin Hood later and I see that 2 Fast is still priced at $19.99, I'll try to get them to change it.

Sadly for me Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift for $20 is still too much.
