Yep, Universal changed it back a while ago. Good move on their part.

Apparently over on HTF, WB is soon to make a "super" announcement. I guess we'll see.

Looks like October 10th will bring Batman Begins, Polar Express, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) and Corpse Bride to HD DVD, with Syriana and 16 Blocks coming to Blu Ray. Exciting.

Of course, like everyone else, I'm also hoping WB does finally announce their HD Superman plans soon.

More double dips for me. I'm buying all 5.

Charlie and Wonka? Sold, and sold.

I thought the "super" announcement would involve a man who happens to be super and has returned, but we'll have to wait a little longer for that I guess.

Count me in for all three of these (as well as Batman Returns and Polar Express). October 10th is an expensive day indeed!

I'll be buying all of these except for Polar Express and I'll be taking the day off from work.

Holy crap, I never thought I'd be in that "can't afford all the new releases this week" mode, with HD-DVD in the first freakin' year! excellent!

Amazing. I thought Sept 26 was going be big (Grand Prix, T3, Dazed & Confused, Fear & Loathing)... but looks like the 10th is going to be a wallet-buster.

Wow. I'm very happy Charlie and Chocolate Factory is coming so soon. Excellent news on the other releases too. I hope they clean up Dune.

October and November are shaping up nicely. Can't wait to see what December will be like. We still have Harry Potter and V for Vendetta not announced yet...

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory should look amazing, given the palette of colors used in the film.

Yeah, I was able to catch it on HD and agree with that assessment.

re: 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'

although the resolution for the DM-R'd IMAX print was by far the "best" and most glaring: the facial makeup looked caked on and in the 'TV miniturize room' refections of the camera and film crew were glaringly obvious in the big bug eyed glasses.
