It will have a DTS HD Master Audio track. No current equipment can produce that audio, but it sure sounds like it'll rock the house.

I'll pick up Christmas Vacation, but I'll wait to DD for the second Scooby-Doo movie, whihc I actually liked.

as for Scooby Doo - the movie wasn't all that, but the DLP theatrical presentation I saw was eye-popping: wow! Would be curious to hear what the reviews think of the HD-DVD.

Yes to National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and a Christmas Story. I'm unsure about Scooby-Doo 2 since I don't consider it to be a classic (i.e. rewatchability).
