I watched The Devil All The Time tonight on Netflix. It's not categorized as horror, but man, it's dark. Pretty good though.

I love The Haunting of Hill House! Most horror shows aren't scary at all but I have to say that it definitely creeped me out and there were certain episodes that made me jump. A prequel about the house, The Haunting of Bly Manor, premieres next month and I can't wait!

The Haunting of Hill House was great, A rare series that delivered a lot of creepy moments along with good characterization.

I've been watching Daybreak on Netflix. Although it's not much of a Horror series. It's mostly a Comedy. Kinda like Ferris Bueller's Zombie Apocalypse.

I'm going to watch the last episode today and I've really enjoyed the series so far.

For fog infused I’m going with Grave Encounters (2011), then it’s on to King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962).

I've kept meaning to watch Grave Encounters.
Though whenever fog is mentioned, I immediately turn to The Fog, Carpenter's of course. I could probably watch it over and over.

Bly Manor definitely has some big shoes to fill after Hill House. The trailer does have me pumped, though. It's just too bad they couldn't renew Marianne for a second season. Netflix seems to be putting quite a series on the chopping block lately.

Mike Flanagan is a checklist entry, BTW.

Amazon has one of the new Vestron Video Collector's Edition Blu-rays for $10.79:
Shivers Shivers

That's literally less than half what they were charging for the earlier films. Good to see that line back.

I went to Walmart today to pick up Mandy and they had both Vestron titles on the shelf.

I pre-ordered Shivers from Amazon weeks and weeks ago. Still hasn't shipped.

I’m a completists for the line and the only one I don’t have is Dagon. Go figure. I’m waiting on the two new titles. These prices were great.

That time of year is upon us where I constantly question the motives and bad decisions in horror movies.

I preordered weeks ago as well, and got mine from Amazon yesterday.

Mine got delayed as well. I only ordered it a few weeks ago though. On the bright side I think it dropped a few bucks.

I really like Shivers. I have the old Arrow Blu-ray. I'd be interested to hear what people think of the new edition. I've been debating buying this new edition.

I was lucky with Diabolik. I happened to see their Facebook announcement about 10 minutes after it was posted. I ordered Maniac and Zombie UHDs, Death Dream and Deathline. They've already shipped as well.

For those who were interested, the virtual Horrorhound film festival that was posted about earlier in the thread starts tomorrow.

The first episode was the slowest to me but all of the rest were great. I can't wait to see what they're going to do with Bly Manor.

Since we're talking about TV, has anyone watched or heard much about new HBO series The Third Day? I'm checking out the first episode now. Is it supposed to be horror? IMDB doesn't list it as horror, but watching it now, it sure feels a lot like Wicker Man the miniseries.

A stranger, played by Jude Law, winds up at an island where residents are preparing for some annual festival. I'm just midway through the first episode so things could clearly change. I haven't really read or know anything about it.

I wasn’t aware of this one, but I came across something intriguing while browsing HBO Max today. At least the title sounds interesting, Lovecraft County.

So I was gonna come in here and say how I threw out my back because my Gamera set and the Nightmare USA book I ordered ages ago both arrived today ...until I got an email. The email was from Amazon saying my original Gamera order from 7/28 actually shipped! That I was not expecting. So if you still have an open order at Amazon you might still have a chance yet. Just wanted to give a head's up.

Yes, that one was definitely on my radar. I have the episodes that have aired recorded and ready for October. I haven't watched it yet, though. Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams are among the producers.

I've seen the first three episodes I think it started out strong, but but has fallen slightly in quality following. I think the female lead steals the show.
