I wouldn't suggest constantly transforming him just to be on the safe side.

Were there a lot of them available at your store ?

Bought the 2 disc and 2 pack at walmart. The single disc is still sealed inside so i took it back in saying i lost my receipt and wanted to buy the 2 disc version Took the store credit and bought Reaping w/ it. So not a bad day so far. Just need to get the Steelbook PT at BB later. The Beginings DVD is just static images w/ moving backgrounds. It has Prime and Bumblebee narrating the story. Its 22 mins long or so. Its not bad but for not having to keep the single disc, it was worth it.

You willingly purchased The Reaping. It's a horrible day.

Anyone got a pic of the inside of the regular 2-disk case?

Just got mine from Target. Inside the package is also a 14 page full color Movie Prequel comic from IDW.

They had about 20 on the shelf.

No offense to anyone who buys it but the Best Buy exclusive set is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen for such a big release. They can keep their $30 exclusive set, I bought the Target exclusive and the FYE Steelbook (my FYE had plenty) and that is more than enough for me.

I wonder if thats the same artwork they used for the beginings DVD? IT looked like it was from a comic and they just moved the images around on the screen w/ voiceovers and effects.

Just got back from picking up my Steelbook at Suncoast. A few things...

They told me on Sunday when they called, to make sure I was going to pickup my preorder, they only got 16 total. When I went in they had about 30, and a few Decepticon Steelbooks were still available. When I opened it, it is identical to the Futureshop one. My disc 1 was loose, but luckly there were no scratches on the disc. Also what I found odd was a small piece of dirt inside the case. It was brown and really looked like dirt, not dust.

The walmart I went to today had mostly floaters in the 2 disc cases for the standard SE. Had to go thru like 10+ cases to find one that was okay.

The Target Exclusive toppled it so far with its amazing (not the transforming DVD) but the OPTIMUS PRIME - TRANSFORMING GIFTCARD!

*Out of my observation (but YMMV for others, I guess) the Target I went at happens to be an isolated Target (meaning, exclusives here are at high availability) but to my suprise the 30 stocked Transforming DVD package sold out in about 30mins.

Just got back from Target and picked up the transforming case. I have to admit at first it looked cheesy but im digging it now.

They only had about 6 or so on the shelve.

I was there first thing in the morning & I saw about 12-15 left. I don't see it listed on Targets website so I think this exclusive will sell out soon.

My Target had 36 on the shelf. A line had formed outside before the store opened. All the copies were taken within 10 minutes.

I actually thought that at first. It was odd. Has anyone else found anything odd inside their DVD cases lately? Not just Transformers, but any movie.

And seriously is there any concern I should have with the DVD I got with the "brown stuff" inside it?

Yes I'm a little bit OCD about germs, dirt, etc...

I was at the Target in my area exactly at the 8 AM opening, the had plenty of the Target exclusives but 2 jabronis (my wife called them Transformer geeks) were there, one bought 3 copies and the other bought 2. So if this is happening all over they will sell out by the end of the day. I really wish stores would set limits with their limited quantity exclusives.

Did you get the gift card with the purchase of the transforming case? I thought it was only with the regular DVD & Bumblebee toy.

There is a limit of 3 per customer for the transforming DVD case. BTW I bought 3 myself and I don't consider myself a jabroni nor a Transformer geek.

How do you know the limit is 3? Did someone tell you that as you tried to buy 6 sets? Sounds greedy to me, money money money.

But that depends on how a consumer justify his "wants".

Not that I have to justify my purchase of three dvds to you but just so you know, one if for me, one is a birthday present, and one is for a friend who can't make it to Target and wants to secure a copy.

Heh, one can easily want to buy more than 3 copies if friends on the east coast call to warn that the DVD sold out fast and they each needed a copy.
