There were approximately 1.42 bajillion copies w/comic at the big Center City Borders in Philadelphia this afternoon. Hardly off the beaten path. I suspect that this is not going out of print, but that there was simply a change order to correct and reprint the comic, which was then inserted into existing cases, which might have caused spot shortages in some locations.

Gotm mine on Monday from Amazon.ca with the comic book which is sweet. But it's bilingual. But i do own a black marker for the spine...hard to resist to remove french writing...

the new dvd has shipped. it has a new UPC code. It doesn not come with the comic book, or the slipcover. Just a plain amaray two disc case. Sorry if you missed it, I got a feeling most of you amazon customer will be recieving this.
On a side not The Best Buy Exclusive Lenticular cover, was seen by me over in the Home theater department in two seperate stores...so you may try there, they were on display next to the plasma screen display.

yes but if you look carefully at Amazon, they're both there, like the 2 discs without the comic book for 17$ (approx.), and the one with the comic book at around 21$.

How can you tell if the one you have has the comic book or not without opening it? The reason I say this is because I saw a few at Best Buy and wanted to pick one up with the comic book.

The comic book is packaged OUTSIDE the DVD in a slipcase similar to the Jaws 30th anniversary edition.
The one without comic book is just a regular DVD keepcase, which is what you will most likely to find at BB.

Damn, if your apartment space is so miniscule as to be directly affected by a DVD slipcover and a comic book a 1/4 of an inch thick, maybe you should forego DVDs altogether for a while and start looking for a new apartment instead...

I ended up finally getting this DVD, after receiving a response from DDD saying that "We are sorry we do not have your order for the item DVD:BATMAN BEGINS (DELUXE EDITION) in your account. Kindly reorder the item at your convenience." I went to Best Buy at my convenience.
