So you mean to say, Both corrected and erroneous versions of the Batman Begins Deluxe Edition were released last October 18, 2005? I bought mine that day. My assumption was that the ffaulty WB error was not found until a week later?

Was yours sporting a lenticular packaging?

Ive got the Best Buy lenticular cover edition with the comic and the correction slip.

Is this the "BEST" one to have?

That was a best buy exclusive, so of course not, given I said I ordered at Amazon.

Nothing's been stated as to whether all the best buy ones were corrected, erroneous or a mix like other stores.

But suffice to say the one with that case AND the erroneous author/writer credits, will be the most rare one in any case.

If you need to check, if yours has Writer Bob Kane and Aritst Bill Finger for "The Bat-Man" you have the erroneous one. If it's the other way around, then it's the corrected one.

Was told the Deluxe Addition was limited edition and that they were sold out at Best Buy. Was lucky to find it at Tower Records. Of course they have the single discs everywhere.

Why is WB doing this with a major title?

Some posts say that they have the comic with corrected credits from Amazon, which is another version to add to the list.

Is the correction slip visible from the package without breaking the shrinkwrap? I saw a few copies at SamGoody but can't tell which version it is.

So is it better to have gotten one with the correction slip, or one without? I don't really see why that is such a big issue as long as you can get one w/ the comic. But then again, that's just me.

Eric, you're the sane one, not to worry. Only completist collectors with OCD care about such minutia. I can say, for me, I'm happy I got the lenticular cover with the comic.

Agreed. I was just trying to be helpful for those that care.

I'm just happy I got the disc with comic for $15.xx. I couldn't care less if it's rare or what it's worth etc.

I was going to wait on getting the BB DE, but just happened to check DavisDVD and this thread today and found out about this OOP business. So glad I found out today...I snagged the very last copy at my local Sam Goody.

I stopped by Circuit City this afternoon and they actually had the DE, but it was without the slipcase and comic. Looks like the slipcase and comic may be done for whatever the real reason might be.

Same at my local Best Buy. Plenty of 2-disc sets now, but no slipcover/comic.

This is getting confusing...I just looked at Amazon, and apparently you can once again order the deluxe edition with the comic book, for $21.68, directly from them.

All ready mentioned two or three times in the thread, but.....

Look in the credits in the beginning of the book and look at The Batman's line.

If it's Writer Bob Kane, and Artist John Finger, it's not correcteed. If its the otherway around it is corrected.

For those who care... the Best Buy at Cambridgeside Galleria, Cambridge MA had around 20 copies of the Deluxe with the lenticular cover today. They are still out there for people who want them!

FWIW, I think the lenticular cover is actually pretty cool.

I was just wondering if anyone in here would be kind enough to send me a Deluxe Edition with the Lenticular cover, here in Canada, and I, of course, would pay for everything...please let me know..

Just chiming in:

I originally preordered both Batman Begins 2 disc set and Episode III from Amazon like a number of other folks it seems.

Well, today I got my order, seems like fears of the 2 disc set with comic not getting sent were unfounded. It came with the comic, no correction slip.
