We actually have pretty similar tastes, which may or may not recommend us

The Best:

2001: A Space Odyssey - Maybe one of the best 10 films ever made?
Rushmore: CC - Wes Anderson's best.
Star Wars Trilogy - No-brainer.

The Worst:
The 13th Warrior
Beverly Hills Ninja
Cannonball Run 2 (!)

Recommendations:
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
The French Connection: Fox 5 Star Edition
The Thing (Carpenter)

Very nice collection.

Best 3: All of those criterions, Evil Dead II Tin, and those MST3K's.

Worst 3: This was tough. Cabin boy, Blair Witch Project, and The Sum of All Fears.

Recommended: Magnolia, Collateral, and M: Criterion Edition.

Great collection, though.

Heh, I guess I'm a 1/3rd of the way towards fixing my collection, since I forgot to add Dawn of the Dead (2004) to my owned list, and I forgot to remove Canonball Run 2 since I've gotten rid of it. I let my list fall into disrepair, but I think I've got it all fixed now.

I know somebody's gotta think the Black Cobra Collection doesn't belong there. Some things are just so bad that it's funny, and at budget prices they're hard to resist.

Boondock Saints is an acquired taste...it's like a Quentin Tarantino flick with Irish people...but how can you not love comedian Billy Connolly playing an indestructible one-man-army psycho killer?? If you like Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrells or Snatch you'll probably like it.

Stonecountry:

Best
- Alfred Hitchcock Collection Vol. 1
- Ultimate Ric Flair Collection
- Seinfeld

Worst
- Scary Movie 3
- The English Patient
- Jumanji

Needed
- Beyond the Mat SE
- Citizen Kane
- Aqua Teen Hunger Force (since you seem to enjoy funny animated shows)

I actually have Citizen Kane on the way to me now. I've seen Beyond the Mat at the theater when it first came out, and there's not too many documentaries I watch more than once. That one was fairly interesting though. As for Hunger Force, my cousin keeps insisting that I'll like it...I love the Brak Show and other Adult Swim stuff.

Now I'll do your list Al Padrino,

Best:

Casablanca SE

Citizen Kane SE

3-Way tie between Fight Club SE, Big Fish, & Leon the Professional Deluxe Ed.

Worst:

(Hard to say because you've got a really well-rounded list full of good stuff....)

50 Cent Bonus DVD (He's way too over-rated, all image & no talent I think...he's got nothin' on Eminem)

Life (Most of Eddie Murphy's movies around this point in his career were a bit lackluster)

a Tie between Clueless and Pee Wees Adventure (both extremely irritating)

You Need:

Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 (You've got all of Tarantino's other stuff, and it'll probably be a while before they get the special edition treatment...You can get them both together for $20 at Best Buy this week)

Wrestlemania 18 (I think it's the best Wrestlemania on DVD... A MUST HAVE for a wrestling fan like yourself)

Curb Your Enthusiasm Seasons 1-3 (If you're a big fan of Seinfeld, this show is similar but it stars Co-Seinfeld Creator and Producer Larry David, who the character George was based on...and it's basically about about his life with cameos by famous people including the Seinfeld cast...I've been planning to pick them up myself.)

Al Padrino:

Best:
- Boyz 'n the Hood: Anniversary Edition
- To Kill a Mockingbird
- Freaks & Geeks: Deluxe Yearbook

Worst:
-Lita - It Just Feels Right
-The Italian Job
-Changing Lanes

Needed
:
-The Unreal Story of Pro Wrestling (A&E Docu)
-WWF Wrestlemania X-8
-10 Things I Hate About You (you have a bunch of teen comedies, and this is one of the best)

50 Cent's the one I thought everyone would jump on right away. Truth be told, I've never even watched it and have found him irritating for quite a while now.

I love Life, though. It has so many great quotes within it that I jumped at the chance to get it at a good price a couple summers ago. I'm not a huge Eddie Murphy fan, but I love this one.

Clueless and Pee-Wee are both acquired tastes, but I think they're both extremely well done.

I've never watched a full episode of CYE, but from the episode I did catch, it seems like something I'd really enjoy.

yeah, i'm an idiot, it was definitely your collection......and I guess I just didn't like Boondock Saints, I think it has something to do with the fact that my friends hyped it up beyond belief.....but that was a few years ago, maybe I'll give it another shot someday...

I've got the A&E documentary on tape elsewhere and since 10 Things I Hate About You is on all the time, I've never felt pressed to go out and buy the DVD.

And I don't own WM X-8 for a reason. To me, it was completely forgetable (even the Rock/Hogan match) and felt like a three-hour RAW to me. Let's not forget the main event that took what starch was left from the live crowd.

Hm.. as suspected, having someone comment is a pretty worthless idea.

That said though Curb Your Enthusiasm is recommended highly.

Josh (stonecountry), I'm bored, it's late, so I figured what the heck:

Best
- Monty Python's Flying Circus - The Complete Collection
- Black Hawk Down - 3-Disc Deluxe Edition
- Wrong Men & Notorious Women: Five Hitchcock Thrillers 1935-1946 - The Criterion Collection

Worst
- Scarecrow (2002) / Scarecrow Slayer
- The Blair Witch Project
- Black Cobra Collection

Most Needed
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2-Disc (For the love of God, why isn't a version of that in your collection anymore? You better have the two disc on the way to you or something.)
- Friday the 13th set - The most recent collection, as well as the individual releases of Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X, and Freddy vs. Jason. (You need it to go with your Nightmare collection.)
- LOTR Extended Sets (I know what you think of this already, but if you got them and got into the extras, you'd kick yourself for not owning them.)

http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?id=brentlumkin (I have the main Owned folder, then three more folders for Box Sets, Pro. Wrestling, and Criterions.)

Thank God I'm not alone on that. I really like both of those films, they are very lovable.

And yes, check out the CYE sets. The first season is a bit slower than the others (but is still great), so just stick with it, and you'll be hooked.
