I bought the fly steelbook from amazon about a month ago and it was a steelbook.. It does seem to be getting a bit of a gamble as to whether you will receive a steelbook or not (judging by some reviewers comments.)
There are some cinema reserve titles i am holding back from getting as i don't want to order and receive the standard case. Some of the cinema reserve dvds on amazon are actually listed as steelbooks, whilst others aren't. So it is confusing.
To guarantee that i get a steelbook, i order from a seller that actually discribes the dvd as a steelbook.

can anyone recommend a good place to pre-order this steelbook for iron man?
i kindly thank howwon for suggesting amazon.de (that is denmark yesh?) or jpc.de, but i figured id ask here again to see if there are any others that might be good.
also, is this steelbook only available in german r2 or are there other regions or languages that this steelbook comes in? i realize the r1 will come with a red border and spain has a yellow border, but im not really digging those. thanks

i am from germany and i can tell you that amazon.de probably is the best shop to preoder the dvd.

not at all. this is happening with virtually every thread. it has to do with the system upgrades they did a few weeks ago. it shows an extra page when there isn't one. it's happened to me several times in several threads.

I received Sweeney Todd SteelBook on Blu-ray from hmv.com, very nice.
I also received The Fly DVD SteelBook from Amazon UK, also very nice.
I received Butch Cassidy Cinema Reserve Edition also from Amazon UK in a bloody plastic case with cardboard slip cover. I wouldn't mind so much, but they are still charging the SteelBook price. I am going to put it down to experience, and make absolutely certain in future that I am going to receive what I ordered.
I can't be stuffed returning it. Too much of a hassle.
Apparently Butch Cassidy isn't the only Cinema Reserve title packaged like this, so buyer beware!

Its listed as having a 'metal box' as one of its features.. I ordered Some like it hot from the same site with the same metal case 'feature' and it was a steelbook.
Not all their cinema reserve dvds are listed as having a metal case so i think its a definite.
