i'm so bummed for this release as it really dims the likelihood of a proper solo Donnie Darko release. i'm not going to pull a major threadcrap here, i'll just say that Southland Tales was a less than worthy successor to Darko, IMHO , and leave it at that.

the korean sweeney todd steelbook is going to be the same as the czech one.. release date is may 9.. not yet listed on yesasia or dvdfromkorea but it will be soon..

Does anyone know if Saw I & II were ever released as seperate Steelbooks? I have only been able to find them as one Steelbook.

I was given a lead from another Steelbook Collector in Europe.
Steelbook cover is the same as the Czech Republic one and the price is a lot cheaper. (Under $20.00 CDN vs $34.00 CDN).

I think that it would be great, if the studio released the entire SAW franchise in R1 Steelbooks.

I have the first 3 Saw steelbooks individually but haven't had any luck tracking down the Swedish Saw IV steelbook. Can anyone help me?

I have been reading that movies and specifically Steelbooks from Sweden are hard to get as most Swedish online stores do not ship outside their Country.

My contact in Sweden is sending me two copies. I was going to use the spare one for trading purposes, for other SAW Steelbooks.

I would trade my spare for SAW III Limited Edition Steelbook in bloodpack / slipcase (limited to 4000 numbered copies).

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (the original) recently got a steelbook release in Scandinavia. I like it quite a bit. Front is similar to the R1 steelbook, but it's neater on the back with no specs. It's only English text on it as well.

howwon...do you know of a good place to get The Orphanage Steelbooks for a decent price. I'm mostly interested in the one with the art book and the one with the screenplay, but might look into the one with the soundtrack too. All of them seem to be around $50 USD though from what I can tell, and I'm not keen on paying that much.

Three of the Steelbooks are exclusive to the stores mentioned in the above post. To get the lowest price would mean buying directly from these vendors, unless you have a contact in Spain.

Forum policy prevents me from posting the name of a vendor that will have these Steelbooks.

Hmm ... I like the cover art for the 2nd and 3rd one, but I already have the 1st one. I guess it's not necessary to have the screenplay or book since it's in Spanish right? And I dont love the soundtrack that much to get the soundtrack edition.

If they were all $20-$30, I'd just go ahead and get them all (maybe not the first one). But since it'll be like $50 for just one, I'm gonna go with the second one; the book is full of pictures from the movie, as well as production shots, so I think that'll be interesting to take a look at. My Spanish isn't fantastic, but I could probably get the gist of anything said in the art book as well. I really like the third cover art though; might pick 'em all up sooner or later.
