Got an e-mail today that if you rent 3 movies between April 14-30, you'll get a free one in May (with a code e-mailed to you on May 7). I wondered how they'd track this until I read the fine print:
Offer valid between 12:00 AM CDT April 14 and 11:59 PM CDT April 30. To qualify for the free rental in May you must provide your email address at the time of check-out. Only paid rentals made during the offer period qualify. Rentals prior to the valid dates will not qualify toward the minimum rental requirement. Only one free rental will be awarded per customer. |

This kind of promotion worked well when the smaller, independently owned video store was in town..they had membership club cards where they punch holes and once you rented so many movies (I think it was 5) you'd get one free. Subway also did/does this, I think. Now, Redbox...jeez, we're going back in time.
$2 for 3 movie rentals doesn't sound bad at all. |

According to InsideRedbox.com, the code SMLVCTS only works at Giant and Stop & Shop grocery stores only. Unfortunately I don't have either nearby and haven't tried it at my local Redbox.
This code, DVDKROG has been reported to work at all Kroger stores. Don't got one of them either, so I just took that info off InsideRedbox.com |

When you rent two or more movies at regular price in a single transaction we'll send you a promo code in three days for a free* rental. Just provide a valid email at checkout and that's it. Please note, only one free rental per person, per day will be awarded. Decent deal. I'll take advantage of it. Valid June 1-30 |

Thought I'd pass this along from the insideredbox newsletter.
If you like Redbox in real life, you might want to "like" it on Facebook and get a free movie rental. Redbox is running a "Summer Movie Mania" promotion offering a free one-night rental code to everyone who "likes" it on its Facebook page. Once you've "liked" Redbox, simply click on the "Fan Freebie" tab to get your code, which will be valid at any Redbox kiosk on June 21st only. Enjoy! |

I just received an email from BBE, for a rent 1 get 1 free good today only using code G216B3. Don't know it's an individual code, but I suspect not. Give it a try. :)
