Been a long time since the glory days of free codes. I used this to reserve a BD at my local store. When I pick it up, I'm curious to see if I can use the code again at the box with a different card.

An e-mail I received earlier has a free code good through 4/18 at 11:59 CT: FREE4YOU

It says it's for a disc rental so would seem to imply that will work for DVD/BD, etc. And of course, I'd expect it to be good multiple times if you use a different credit card.

I debated whether a separate thread might be beneficial but will just throw this in here. It could be a YMMV situation.

Got an e-mail this morning from Redbox with the subject "Member Exlusive - A FREE MOVIE to keep"

The e-mail included a unique code good through 7/31 for a free disc from among a select group of films:

Crisis
Every Breath You Take
Rogue Hostage
SAS: Red Notice

I've reserved a copy of Crisis on DVD to pick up at the Walgreens nearby. You can also redeem for a BD, but Crisis was the most interesting film to me and the closest kiosk with the BD was 20 miles away.

I’ve seen all 4 of those movies and none of them are worth owning. But if I had to choose the most entertaining one, it would be SAS Red Notice. But you can watch that on Netflix. Crisis is okay, but it’s not exactly an uplifting topic since it’s about the Fentanyl crisis.

But free is free I suppose.

Rogue Hostage I would pass on. Cheap low budget trash. It’s also on Hulu.

Used rentals I assume? Might be worth having one of those Redbox cases just because. Will have to watch my emails.

Yes they are used rentals. All those movies are "Red Box originals" actually acquired titles by Red Box to distribute on BD/DVD.
