Thanks, Laser. I tested the new $8 coupon online and it doesn't work just like the others. It looks like Criterion sales + online coupons is a thing of the past. This new one should help me out next week though.

So, I got a 20% off coupon in my email. Printed it and took off for my local to store to buy Shoah.

Have you tried something just for fun -- put something not on sale in your BN checkout basket and add the code to see what the discount it (assuming the database hasn't updated the coupon as used yet since sometimes it can take a bit of time).

Got ya and I agree... sometime the one at Lincoln Center would do it, but the midtown location on 5th is the worst. I always go to my local store on Long Island though and never have any problems.

Got 4 criterions at my local BN, wouldnt take the 20% coupon though, usually they manually put it through if it doesnt ring up, but not this clerk... oh well. I didnt pre-order Devils Backbone since i hope the next coupon will work come Tuesday...

I tried my 15% online, didn't work. Contact CS - apparently these Criterion titles are an excluded item as they do not qualify for coupons or promotional discounts. Damn! I really didn't want to have to go to town today to use the coupon. Hopefully I can wait this out and another one will come this week.
