Thanks as always for the updates, Laser!

Can codes like B4A8U7L still be used multiple times per account? Perhaps I am misrecalling their capabilities...?

I did add a 15% online coupon good for all customers, but there are supposed to be some new 20% and 15% coming. I looked a short time ago but so far have not run across them yet.

While there's a lull in the coupon action, want to take this opportunity to thank "our sponsor" for providing us with the goods.

Thanks again for all your work, Laser!

Here are a couple of store coupons I ran across that you can use. Also added some online codes to go with them on the first page.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I had a question about Discover card cashback. Is there anything on your statement page on the website that shows the breakdown of cashback earned? My statement was recently posted but I can only find the total amount of cashback for the billing period. I'm not sure how they determined the total since there was no breakdown of the cashback relating to my purchases, and a lot of the time I never received the emails saying I earned any cashback. I guess I'm going to have to go through each purchase to figure it out. Sort of going to be confusing since some of my B&N purchases were when it was 10%, and others when it was 15%.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

It's not a perfect system, but you can see a little bit of detail.

1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to "Cashback Bonus" in the menu bar.
3. Go to "Cashback Bonus Details in Your Account Activity" on the right side of the screen.
4. Go to "Detailed Rewards Activity" in the right column.

Like I said, it does not provide a lot of details, and it seems to be at least one cycle behind, but it's the most I could find.

Also, I plan to call Discover on Monday to report missing Cashback. By my calculations they assessed 10% cashback on all purchases that were supposed to be 15%, and they missed a few purchases. In total they owe me $30 more in cashback.

On another note, thanks for the 20% coupons. I used them to purchase The Dresden Files Season 1 for $5.43 and Mr. Bean Ultimate Collection for $19.04, after cashback and before tax. Both are currently 60% off MSRP.

Thanks! It's there now. I looked last night and there was nothing in the details section. They had the cashback total and nothing else. When I checked the section for cashback bonus details it said I had zero. Since this is my first Discover card statement I wasn't sure what information they post on the web site. They must have been in the process of adding the information when I looked. I'll have to go through it to figure out if I'm getting the correct amount.

Thanks for the coupons. I picked up The Baader Meinhof Complex Blu-ray which is on sale for 13.99/60% off. That was already well below other sites so the additional 20% makes this a fine deal.

Nice find. How did you find it? It doesn't look like it's part of any of the official sales on bn.com. Although their sales are so hard to find and navigate that I might just not be seeing it.

There is a page that lists most current sales/deals. From the main page rollover Movies & TV and select DVD Deals under the Deals section. This also includes Blu-ray deals. Not far from the top of that page is a section that says "Blu-rays on Sale - Up to 50% Off!". Click that banner to get a list of these on sale items sorted by bestsellers. I selected 100 per page and found The Baader Meinhof Complex somewhere in the top 50. Here's a direct link to the Blu-ray sale list.

There are some decent deals and a number of other items I'm considering now that there's a 20% coupon.

Becket, Il Divo, and Tell No One are all $13.99 and 60% off too. Might pick up a couple at that price point.

BECKET is a fine Blu Ray and a great film. I highly recommend it.

JWSTL, please continue to post any good deals you see for Blus on sale at B&N.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I should probably be posting B&N Blu-ray deals in the thread I created in the Blu-ray forum but that never seems to get much action so I tend to forget about it. You really need to be a member to get the best deals.
I'll post these over there too but here are others I'm considering with prices before coupons:

Fiddler on the Roof: 14.99
South Pacific: 13.99
The House of the Devil: 13.99
The Host: 12.99
Sukiyaki Western Django: 8.74

Here are a few I would consider if I didn't already have them:

12 Monkeys: 7.49
Stop Making Sense: 19.24 (I rarely see this on sale)
The Long Riders: 10.99
The Thing: 9.99
Cinderella Man: 7.49

Here a few Blu-ray box sets that are nicely priced after coupons:

The Universe: Complete Series (5 Seasons): 89.99
The Mel Brooks Collection: 54.99
The Sound of Music: 44.99
Alien Anthology: 54.99
National Geographic: Ultimate High-Definition Collection: 46.74

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Thanks jwstl, I've been looking for a good price on the Stop Making Sense Blu. And thanks laser for the coupons.

Also, I saw posted on another forum that from 8/30 - 9/14 all blu rays will be 40% off. Does anyone know if there are any legs to this rumor?

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

My temporary membership is expiring in 2 days, so I figured I should use some coupons. I ordered the complete Married With Children for $34 bucks shipped. Not too shabby for 11 seasons... I also bought Priest 3D BD for $20 shipped... Gotta love them 20% coupons. As usual, TYVM Lasermovies!

Looks like the surprise coupon offer is coming back again. Wonder if we will be able to figure out the coupons again, or has B&N come up with a way to control them better this time around. This information is for members but I saw coupon information there are coupons for non members also.

Damn, my temp membership ends tomorrow. If this coupon truly happens again, I'm gonna have to renew. They're starting to make it worth my while... Hopefully we'll get barcodes for these. My fingers are officially crossed!
