Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only.

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Criterions, Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc.
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Single Item 15% OFF, but should be reusable in different transaction and if the Clerks will scan it more than once.

Expiration 12/31/2020 and despite the coupon language is only good for In-store coupon Eligible items.

The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016
"New Member" Welcome Coupons appear to be discontinued at least for now

Doesn't look like they are making this available for regular customers. I thought maybe it might have been at least a special offer for former Border customers or some special promotion for the day.

Darn. Thanks for looking though. It's obvious that you put in a lot of work in finding and posting all of these other coupons.

Oh wow, I read too fast. Saw it as Excludes instead of Educational. Wow. Thanks for saving me a trip and embarrassment!

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

First off, thanks for the coupons.

I was able to use two 20% off on two DVDs; "The Apartment: Collector's Edition" and "Only Angels Have Wings".

It's a bittersweet night. Came home a few minutes ago.

Looking through the 50% off titles, it took awhile to register; the CD area is half missing. I asked after buying - the Redlands, CA store will be removing its media area. They were packing away merchandise. When?

Tuesday - the final day. I asked if there was going to be any big sale. Nope, just boxing the stuff away. And with that, it ends my physical contact with Criterion titles. They were the last store which sold them. Online only now.

What's replacing the area? Toys.

Man, I'm bummed.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Thanks as always Laser. The Northgate Seattle BN has the nice Onyx very of Stratego marked down 30% from its $50 list. With the games coupon it rang up at around $18, which was a nice find.

Question: has anyone received a cash back commission lately (via e bates, discover, et cetera) when using a gift card to pay? I've had no luck with any of them, they just void out and remove the kickback. TIA.

I had the same thing happen at several places. I've learned that if you use a giftcard for payment it does not qualify for cashback anywhere because B&N will not accept it. I was told this by a certain cashback web site recently. Won't mention any name since I don't want to get in trouble. Apparently you have to make payment with a credit or debit card to qualify. I would assume paypal would also qualify but I'm not definitely sure since I have not used them in a while for a B&N purchase.

So B&N learned nothing from the death of Borders? People don't go to book stores to buy tchotchkes.

And it's distressing to discover that the rumors of media areas being dismantled are true--I haven't checked any of my local stores to see if they have dumped their DVD/Blu Ray sections. Dammit, I like physical media!

Hmm, nothing's happening to the Phoenix stores that I'm aware of. Some have better selection than others. I was browsing at one on Saturday & couldn't believe they had the black metal CD Thorns Vs Emperor. Selection's much better than Best Buy. I asked the media clerk when the next Criterion sale would be. She wasn't sure, but she spoke about Criterions in a way that indicated they'd still be around next summer.

From the Criterion Forum:
Next Criterion 50% sale will be November 1st - 14th according to a B&N associate.

They learned a lot from Borders. What they learned is most people don't go to bookstores to buy CDs or movies anymore either. And they aren't buying books there either.

I haven't had a chance to find out about local stores around me, but even if it's not now, it seems it will be at some point sooner than later. They about the last place to go with any selection.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Now you guys have me worried. I hope neither of my two closer B&N get rid of DVD's. I spose I could drive out to the two distant stores when there are good deals to be had, but I'd much rather go to my two nearby locations.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Just a heads up there is a new 30% code for B&N today valid for all customers. It's part of a Facebook flash sale. It's only valid until around 6 PM today. Evidently B&N must have did something like this last week with that 50% coupon I never could find. Credit goes to Sweet Baby James for posting the code in the B&N blu-ray bargain thread a short time ago.

Thanks for the coupon Laser.

Does anyone know how much Scream 4 and The Tree of Life (blu-rays) are in-store?

There is also a free shipping coupon on the first page if you have a Mastercard. However you cannot stack or combine it with other coupons.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Sucks if you don't have a Mastercard. I have VISA and Discover but no MC. Dammit.

Went to B&N, tried looking up every DVD I had in Wish Lists at Amazon and DD, and every one I looked up, even with the 30% discount, was more $$$ at B&N. That sucks too.

Guess I'll wait until I can pick up another B&N Gift Card with Sony Points.

Thanks for posting the Coupon Code tho- Much appreciated! -kd5-

nm, my total before tax was less than $25. I grabbed Tremors Attack Pack and the new incredible Hulk marvel masterwork book for around $30 bucks. Not bad.
