Re: DVDs at Ross - Dress for Less!
Checked out another local Ross that I missed before I went to work tonight.
Picked up:
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (Last copy)
Star Trek: Nemesis (Last copy)
Star Trek: Generations (Last copy)
I was happy to find all of these since they are 3 of the last 4 Trek films I am missing
Unfortunately, I was only able to find the 1-Disc Edition of First Contact at 2 of the 3 stores I went to. Has anyone seen the 2-Disc?

I'm seriously on the hunt for The Search For Spock and hopefully the 2 disc First Contact. I've yet to see either of those at least at the Downtown SF Ross. Aside from these, I have seen all the others over the past week or two. Unfortunately, I have only seen First Contact as a single disc. I hope that they'll get some 2 disc ones in sooner or later. =)

Same here! It's the only one I cannot find. I've been to 6 different Ross stores looking for it.

What kind of quantities are people seeing on these 2 disc Star Trek movies? I bought four of the only five dvds at one store and there were none at the other I checked.

Thanks for the heads up. I still have one Ross in my local area to check out, so I'll probably do that since I have the day off. I've been keeping an eye out for Search For Spock.

Re: DVDs at Ross - Dress for Less!
Last Saturday at Ross I bought for $3.99 each:
- To Sir, With Love (A bargain compared to what third parties are asking at Amazon. Maybe I can sell it for a profit since I already own a copy)
- Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

Re: DVDs at Ross - Dress for Less!
Here in San Francisco, I spotted the 2 disc Transformers (2007) for 5.99 (Geary store). As well as the 2 disc Babel (4.99), 2 disc Forrest Gump (4.99), Single disc Rush Hour 3 (3.99) and Superman Returns 2 disc for (4.99)
Other than Transformers, the rest of the listed films were available at both the Ross downtown, as well as the Richmond location.
No luck with any of the Star Trek 2 disc movies I need. I'll just keep checking back. =)

Found several copies of The Fall Of the Roman Empire at the Ross in downtown San Francisco. This was yesterday afternoon for those that are interested. Still haven't seen any of the last 2 Star Trek movies that many people can't seem to find here.

Re: DVDs at Ross - Dress for Less!
Thanks to a few posts in this thread I picked up The Fall of the Roman Empire (The Miriam Collection) at Ross for only $4.99.
Some people may not agree with me, but I dare say that DVDs Ross sells in its stores are far better and more interesting than Big Lots. But then again I only started checking out Big Lots since a few weeks ago.

I'd be thrilled to get this title for $4.99, but already had it.
I'd say the selection at BL is more diverse and they usually get more copies. Not to mention a tad cheaper.
The DVD selection at my Ross really consists of junk mostly. But to each there own.

Re: DVDs at Ross - Dress for Less!
FINALLY found Fall of the Roman Empire at a Ross in Modesto. I'd hit like 4 or so before I came up on it. Interesting to note that they basically had one copy of every dvd. Need to find another copy now to satiate my mom - fiance is getting this one!

Re: DVDs at Ross - Dress for Less!
Today at 2 different Ross in the Sanford FL area I found Disney's Kronk's New Groove for $6.99. Don't recall EVER finding Disney DVDs for less than $13.00. Anyone else seeing any more Star Trek films?
