I bought all of those KISS mags when they came out. I still have them stashed in a box somewhere (in well read condition).
And if we are doing Fu Manchu covers, can't forget about this classic:

^Wow. Looks like a dead-on rip-off to me.

Starfox first appeared in Iron Man about six months before that Superboy comic. Timber Wolf had a different look before that.

First came this Timber Wolf
Then first Starfox

Then the Superboy cover posted

DC and Marvel were rather blatantly ripping each other off in the 70's through 90's. Makes sense since writers and artists were often switching teams.

I have that comic! (an 80s printing with a higher price tag). Back in my collecting days I'd usually pick up any Crumb comic I stumbled upon.

Okay, this is from 1980, an oversized 100-page book for 95 cents. I started reading comics in 1985 when regular issues switched to 75 cents. I was reading G.I. Joe via Marvel and a couple Marvel titles. I remember not liking DC because the art felt sooooo ooooold. This cover was from only 5 years before but it's style was alive and well in 1985 and that art style felt like 1965 to me.

This book is notable for the death of Fritz the Cat!!
