Pretty interesting Team-Up to fight a scary chipmunk! At least that is what it looks like.

Something tells me comics like these wouldn't go over so well these days...

Comics were still read by girls in the 1960s and by the mid 70s all the genres they liked disappeared.

It's pretty clear by the tail end of the 1960s that comics as a medium was shifting from a mass market item enjoyed by children everywhere to reading material for older and older demographics. Enough boys hung around reading superheroes while girls drifted away into television content I guess. I'd guess watching soap operas is infinitely more entertaining for women than reading them through the comics medium.

...Is it... is it Man-Bat? Is it the guy behind them? I guess this could be some sort of twist and it's like Alfred, or something, but that's not really a funny ha-ha moment. Which I think you know, so I'm hoping it's just that guy behind them. Because if it's not, that's pretty cruel to the kids, guys.

Something tells me Lois wants to get married. And this doesn't even touch all the "wedding covers" for her over the years.
Something tells me the male writers had zero idea what to do with her in her own title.

It's tough finding those Lois Lane issues in great condition. Lots of copies circulate in poor condition but generally I'd say Silver Age Lois Lane customers weren't storing their books very well.
I'd love to buy them in an omnibus but DC has barely gotten around to issuing Silver Age Superman, much less Jimmy or Lois.

Yeah, an Omnibus of Lois, Jimmy and the Family comics would be welcome.
So many of those stories are just so outlandish and wacky that they make for fun, repeatable reads.

Re: Comic Book Cover Of The Day
Since we were talking about demographics earlier, surely those comics were targeted toward female comic readers? I remember seeing those as a little kid and having like no interest in them.
